Like the fine shredding, quiet operation, easy empty.

Very happy so far. Easy to use. Have not had any overheating issues. Perfect for a home office. Was an upgrade from a smaller unit (different brand) that finally died and because I had a much larger amount of documents to shred these days.

This shredder is good for the average household. Not recommended if you have boxes of shredding. Large projects will take a long time because the machine does not have a lot of waste capacity and it will overheat after about 30 minutes of operation. You have to wait for it to cool down before starting up again. Shreds into very fine particles and cuts up credit cards and CDs.

I like that it's on wheels=makes it easier to roll where you need it. The bin slides right out making it convenient to turn upside down inside a garbage bag to empty. Because the paper is shredded so small, they are easier to vacuum up if get spilled on floor when emptying out bin.

It's has worked really well. I ran a lot of paper through it initially and it ate it all. I only run about a max of 4 to 5 sheets at a time, so don't know if it will handle a full 10 sheets. Shreds credit cards real well but only cuts up cd's into big chunks, which is probably fine. Need to shake it before emptying to make sure everything falls down in the basket or it will dump paper all over the inside.

Excellent shredder for home or office use. It is easy to move from location to location because it has wheels so the whole family can use it in different locations.This shredder not only shreds paper but it also shreds CDs, DVDs,credit cards and staples.So it shreds something for everyone in our home.

Works great! It is a little slower than a standard cross-cut shredder, but not a problem at all. Very smooth running. The micro-cut shreds takes less space, so we empty it a lot less often. The pull out container makes it easy to empty.

I've had the Insignia 10 sheet microcut shredder for about a month and have had a very good experience thus far. It's easy to feed in sheets, no problems shredding, and releasing/emptying the unit is very easy.

So far this shredder is perfect for at home needs with a nice size footprint. It also has the credit card and CD shredding function. I really like the plastic see thru piece in the front so you know when it needs emptying. And the price was right!

This was an "impulse buy" to replace an old shredder we have in our computer room. Turned out to be an excellent choice for shredding personal documents, old credit cards, etc. Fits nicely under my desk. Instructions say it will also do CDs/DVDs, but haven't tried that feature yet. Very pleased with this product.

This is a great shredder 10 pages at a time and staples credit cards too and CDs and is quiet I would recommend it for anyone who wants to be sure that there documents can not be read, its is a confetti shredder tiny pieces!!!! I would recommend to buy it

Having graduated from a small table top model this waste basket sized shredder is a breath of fresh air. it easily chews up CD's, credit cards, 10 pages of heavy stock paper at a time with hardly an effort. Relatively quiet and clean operation. Definitely worth the sub $100 dollar price

I do tend to tear my name/address from the larger sheets of paper so I do shred smaller pieces than most, but I've shredded many little pieces, filled up the bin a few times, and have never had the shredder stop because of overheating. That's it: it shreds; it doesn't stop. Good buy. Good by.

After having another hard to use and hard to empty shredder, this has been a dream come true! It is quiet, easy to use and empty and works wonderfully! We love this shredder!

This is a great addition to my Home office. My previous shredders died a horrible death on me leaving with mounds of paperwork to be destroyed. This shredder give me a heads up about overloads and over heating. I highly recommend this unit for it's easy of movement. Thanks

Great shredder that cuts in multi direction so there’s no way to piece things back together. It obviously will take a little longer putting a thick envelope of junk mail with a credit card in it but still powers through. The wheels and pop out bin are convenient.

I really like this shredder much better than my old one which was larger and a little more heavy duty. The Insignia shreds in small micro pieces and is very easy to empty without getting the shreds all over. I've only had it a couple of weeks and am hopeful it will do the job for a long time. The only negative I have is that the paper slot for paper 8 1/2 inches wide is a little tight. Getting the paper going in straight is a bit of a challenge. If a few sheets are not fed into the slot exactty, they may become slightly twisted which can cause the shredder to sense too much bulk, and it jams up.

This shredder is very affordable and strong. I had bad experiences of shredders that jam up too many times or overheat quick. I have not had such issues with this Shredder.

I've been searching for a quiet shredder bc I live on the 2nd floor condo and reviews on this shredder are accurate. Shreds quietly and shreds junk mail easily especially all the credit card offers that keep piling up.
