This shredder does a great job. It isn’t too loud and it has a decent sized bin that will hold a decent amount of shredded paper. I have not had any issues with overheating. I only shred about 6 pages or so to not risk any issues, but it does a good enough job, that 10 pages will probably be no issue. The wheels are optional, but it is nice to be able to easily slide it out of the way. I had hundreds of pages to shred, and this got the job done.

In expensive for quality, ready to use out of the box and works efficiently. The size of the shredded paper is very good.

This is a very good shredder. I replaced another brand I had for maybe 10 years and this one is so much better. Both are microcut so they do an excellent job of destroying the documents. But even with very heavy usage, this one has yet to stop for an overheat condition. My old unit would only go for about 10 minutes and then needed about 30 minutes of cool off time. That really put a damper on productivity. This unit is a bit quieter, a bit faster, and you know right away how sharp the blades are, it just cuts right through. It says it can handle up to 10 sheets at a time, but I usually only put 5 or 6 through at once. The wheels are nice, I put the brake wheels in back because I was always stepping on them when they were in front. I would buy it again.

This product is excellent. Easy to operate and looks great as well. Operates much quieter than previous shredders. Great quality and price. Highly recommend this product.

Honestly, this shredder is great! It cuts your paper and cards into small pieces and its super sleek. No issues with overheating or jamming so far. It also comes with wheels so you can choose whether or not to use them. It’s 5 stars for sure!

My old shredder that lasted many years finally quit running. After reading many reviews I finally purchased this one & I love it! The microcut is a finer cut than my old shredder. I can do many more pages at a time. It is quieter! It is easy to empty. The wheels make it easy to move. I have used it to destroy old files that I no longer need to keep providing room to store more new ones. What else can I say! I am a happy customer!

I’ve used similar products before, but they would often stop working properly after shredding several papers, overheating quickly and making it slow and frustrating to destroy large piles of documents. This shredder, however, has been a game-changer. It handles up to 14 sheets at once without overheating or jamming. After months of use, I still think it was a great purchase. The small wheels make it easy to move around your home or office, though they’re less helpful for longer distances. It can also shred items like credit cards, which adds to its versatility.

I bought this shredder on sale. It's a little bigger than what I intended to buy but the sale price was attractive. I'm very happy with this large(r) shredder. It is quick, quiet, and takes in up to 10 pages at one time including staples. The only con is that when emptying the bin, I need a very large container to prevent the bits from flying all over my work area.

Love how it shreds, didn't realize it had wheels until I started to shred and found the pouch inside. now it's mobile. quiet shredder and like how large capacity it is compared to and older one I had before we purchased this one.

There was a problem with jamming and overheating with first purchase. So far, this new one has worked well and does not ask me to stop after 15 minutes of shredding.

Always reluctant to buy shredders because they tend to be expensive and underpowered and don’t last long. So far, this has been one of the better ones we’ve owned. I really like the fact that it’s a cross-cut shredder. Security means a lot. As well, it handles Credit cards, CD’s, etc. It does the job nicely and doesn’t struggle as with others we’ve had in the past. Decent price-point, as well.

The Insignia 10 Sheet Microcut Shredder is an excellent buy. It is not a noisy shredder. This shredder is of excellent quality and it is easy to us. It is as described. It shreds 10 sheets of paper easily and it actually shreds into microcut pieces. I would definitely recommend this shredder.

This shredder is well designed, quiet and compact. The wheels are shipped in a bag inside the bin and attached easily. Shredding is quick and easy. There is no interference with either a smart TV or the stereo. I use an Insignia surge protector with it, just as a precaution, - because so far, this is the best shredder I have ever purchased. I have an older Insignia shredder, which still works, that I use to shred envelopes. If you get a huge amount of junk mail, I suggest cutting the glue strip off, as the manufacturer of this shredder does not want envelopes shredded, which apparently is due to the glue. The shredder is made in Vietnam, not China. To date, I have been pleased with all my Insignia purchases. Note: the bin holds a lot. I would suggest using a large stand-up paper bag for disposal or a large bag with ties in a barrel for dumping the shredded material.

Fast and easy to use. Excellent price for a very efficient paper shredder . It's compact , light and easy to empty the shredded paper. Easy and intuitive set up. Controls are not complicated .

The shredder easily takes care of paper, plastic cards, and small staples. I was able to sit down and shred for 15 minutes. No problem. I didn't load it to its max. I mainly did six to eight sheets at a time and it handled it perfectly well. I can see how doing too much too fast would overheat it. But honestly that was not an issue for me and I had a lot of shredding to do. I shredded almost an entire box of paper and it didn't even fill the bin. The shredder also feels well built it has a little bit of weight but the wheels are nice as well. Just roll it around to where you need.

The shredder worked fine and was easy to use. I also liked the microcut paper cutting better than the crosscut.

Purchased this to replace our old one that wasn't working anymore. It's much quieter and shreds the material into very small pieces. It has handled plastic and staples without any problems. It was relatively inexpensive and works well.

I haven’t owned the shredder very long, but so far I’ve been very pleased. I bought a similar shredder from a different store that I ended up returning. That one was hard to empty and even though they promised it to be quiet, it was very loud. This is easy to empty and very quiet and the wheels make it easy to take it out and put it away in my small space. I would definitely recommend this product!
