Although I didn't know it at first. I originally ordered the 4 foot long version of this Insignia cable. A day later, when I lifted my chromebook and pulled out everything plugged into the wall outlet, I learned I needed a bigger cable. So I returned the 4 footer (thanks Best Buy), and bought the 7 footer. Charging is speedy, and the cable is flexible but also seems strong. I think this is sturdy enough to last a long time, likely longer than the cable which came with my chromebook.

Just might not charge as fast like the braided aspect,makes it feel a little more durable. It has somewhat of a tight fit when I plug my phone in when my old one was much smoother.

The charging port fit wasn't tight and it charged slow. The slow charge could've been our 2 year old Insignia wall charger. Great price and length.

Additionally, I love the braided cord! Didn’t really pay attention to that when I was ordering but wow! It’s a game changer - no more broken cords. Not only does my cat take an occasional bite, but just the normal wear and tear take a toll on the rubber Apple cables. Will not have that issue anymore with this thick braided cable. Also, charger works beautifully and fast!
