The 7 ft length allows us to charge and use the phones at the same time from our recliners. Cords seem to be heavy enough to last a long time.

A Great Price & Just What I needed -- Eventually!

Although I didn't know it at first. I originally ordered the 4 foot long version of this Insignia cable. A day later, when I lifted my chromebook and pulled out everything plugged into the wall outlet, I learned I needed a bigger cable. So I returned the 4 footer (thanks Best Buy), and bought the 7 footer. Charging is speedy, and the cable is flexible but also seems strong. I think this is sturdy enough to last a long time, likely longer than the cable which came with my chromebook.

The charging port fit wasn't tight and it charged slow. The slow charge could've been our 2 year old Insignia wall charger. Great price and length.
