In a sea of these things, good features at a reasonable price without things you don't need. Automatically selects portrait or landscape with position (like a tablet) and automatically sizes image. Plays images in order loaded and includes a remote control. Has time and calendar function (if you like) and pretty intuitive to set up. Viewing angle is pretty good but contrast/brightness interaction can take a little tweaking for good results. I bought for my invalid mom to enjoy and she has.

I got this frame on Deal of Day sale. Its going to be a Xmas present for my daughter who is all about photography right now. What better way to show off her precious captures than her own photo frame! I have one of these in a prior model and it worked around the clock for years... like 10. It has one row of pixelation a third of the way across but I still use it. From a distance its hardly noticable. I like their quality, durability and aesthetics.

The picture quality was great and, unlike some models, you can view the photos at an angle and the pictures retain their clarity and brightness. The only complaint I have is the fact that the frame could not display some of my photos. I am at a complete loss to understand why this is. I actually bought a digital frame 8 years ago with this same issue, and I thought that by now the technology would be in place so that a quality digital frame would be capable of showing any picture I had. My personal computer does it without any problem. Why can't a digital frame -- a device devoted solely to showing photos, ironically -- do it?

I bought 2 of these picture frames, the first didn't even turn on and the second has been giving me nonstop problems. The second worked for a few days then said the photos were unreadable. (I literally turned it off for the night then turned it back on the next day and it wouldn't read the SD card.) This happened multiple times when setting up and when trying to enjoy the slideshow. Would definitely not recommend this headache, not worth the expensive price.

Set up is easy enough - you can use a thumb drive or a SD card. My suggestion would be to use a computer and transfer the photos into the SD card or thumb drive. In case you're having issues with photos showing up - make sure the photos are big enough (size wise), I had issues with the ones downloaded from FaceBook. Other than that, ensure that you put the photos directly, and not a folder - in case that is giving you issues as well. Once you set it up - its great and work well. You can see it quite well - even in direct sunlight.

    An eye catcher

Digital photo frames are an eye catcher. Turn it on, place the frame on the side of the room, and watch your guests looking there. The Insignia 10 inch photo frame is large enough for most pictures where people are the subject, while landscapes would probably require a larger screen. Installation was simple. I had one problem, as I could not get a 64GB SD card to work, so I substituted a USB drive which worked fine. This problem was why I rated the product with four and not five stars.

But the reason I bought it it worked very nicely. My mom is losing her faculties of memory and me and my family downloaded pictures onto this picture frame and every day she looked at it completely and she was starting to remember who everyone was again even if it was for a short time. Also to you were the only ones they had it in stock when I needed it and that I appreciate more than you know. I love Best Buy for all of the customer service that you do give

The picture quality on this product is great and I love that it's simple to use but I had figured that there was some kind of wireless way to upload pictures on it which was incorrect as it needed an sd card or a USB memory stick to plug into it. I really wish the worker I had talked to had mentioned that when pointing out the product because that was an extra trip to the store that could have been avoided and I could have gotten it all at once so it was actually immediately usable.

So the picture quality is great, but you have to have it constantly plugged into a power source. There’s no place for a battery source which I think defeats the purpose of the digital photo frame, how are you suppose to hang it on the wall with such a short power cord? Also, don’t forget to order or buy an SD card so you can store multiple photos for it to display.

How does this have 4 stars?

HORRIBLE. Stand is flimsy and doesn't hold frame. I eventually gave up because it was so annoying. I would LOVE to know how this has such incredible reviews. I bought it based on the reviews. The package was not taped so I feel like it was a return. The frame was slightly dented and there is a black dot on the white part by the pictures. Totally disappointed and plan on returning it. Such a shame too because I put a USB in and the picture quality looked great.

    Value Priced Photo Display

While not a feature-heavy product, for the price this digital photo display sets pretty in the office showing off pictures in crisp, iPhone-like detail. If you aren't interested in spending almost the cost of a TV for a digital photo display, this is the way to go. Otherwise, honestly, why not just buy an inexpensive 19" LCD TV with Chromecast, or something similar, and do the same with even more features than those really expensive photo displays?

    color could be better

Cannot get either the orange tint or yellow tint out of pictures. The contrast and saturation can only be changed either to more orange or yellow. Even black and light pictures have a slight yellow to them no matter how much you change settings. My HP I had for years that finally went bad you could change color to a red to hue on up to purple just like TV's. And pictures looked perfect in both color and black and white.

The screen gives a bright and vibrant picture color. A little expensive, but definitely worth it. I am running a usb stick with all our pictures on it. The usb sticks out about 1-1/4” from the right side of the frame - so I wish that wasn’t visible. But I am sure I can buy a larger storage card to use if need be.

    Would be great...if designed correctly

Ordered this for my grandmother to have all of her grandkids/family members' photos in one place; went to go set it up and everything was working fine except for the stand. Was not designed correctly and will cause the frame to fall if moved even slightly because the markings do not line up properly. Tried to unscrew and fix but unfortunately I now have to return this for a new one. Not the biggest deal, but when I pay $75 for a gift the least that can be done is proper design.

I bought and setup 5 of these photo frames. Took 1 star off because the option to display photos in a random order does not work very well IMHO. (you see the same photos repeating fairly regularly). I just play in sequence and it seemed fine. For some reason (and I don't know if this specific to this photo frame) but for all photos downloaded from Facebook (even though they're jpg format) I had to "process" them with Adobe Photoshop, before they were acceptable to the photo frame.

I bought this for my living room. Got tired of having picture frames all over and thought a frame with as many pictures as I want playing all the time was a great idea. And this frame is wood and nice brown color so looks very nice as well. Would not get any smaller than this size as it's perfect for being able to see the pictures. A bit pricey, but well worth it!

Used this for our wedding reception, I took it out of the box, plugged it in, placed the back stand on, and loaded the pictures on a usb and placed in usb slot. The charger and stand are kind of hidden inside fyi. I got it setup and working in under 5 minutes. The pictures looked great and had no issues. Would be great to have a battery option to avoid needing a plug in for certain occasions. I would give a 4.5 out of 5. Could be alittle less expensive.

I've had an Insignia digital photo frame before, which ran for at least 5 years. Then I had a couple of cheaper brands none of which lasted even 2 years. This time I came back to get Insignia with a bigger size. The quality seems to have improved a lot! The pictures are sharper and the controls and menu are much better than I saw it last time. Looks sleek with the smooth wood, goes perfectly with my home decors. Definitely worth it!

Overall good frame, the wood grain looks like and authentic. Really good picture and easy to use. My cons are 1)the stand is tricky to work and isn't made from great plastic to get into place and 2)the remote control is awful and very delayed-the function buttons are best used on the actual frame's control buttons but toggle slowly with outdated old looking functionality. Overall a pretty decent product for what you're paying

Just what I was looking for! I know digital picture frames are kind of getting a bit outdated but, I bought this as a gift for someone who it was perfect for. I would highly reccommed this product. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I had a bit of difficulty trying to load pictures directly onto it. I probably could have figured it out but it was easier to just put an SD card in it and, when I did that...Violia! It worked like a champ!!
