Of course you need this! Who wants to put up with a poor wifi signal? You want good enough internet access out in your back yard so that you can show an Amazon movie on your laptop, or hook up a projector and watch the big game, or connect your wired security cameras, and have a connection that won't lag or drop. This will get the job done. Plug one end into the router and the other end into any device with an ethernet port. This cable has made all my outdoor gatherings more fun. It's also convenient-- it can be rolled up and stored when not in use. Just try not to get it tangled, 150 feet is a lot of cable and you'll be sorting that out for a while.

We were changing the layout of one of our computer setups, when we discovered we'd be too short on the length of the existing ethernet cable. Thankfully Best Buy was open. We chose the 25' cable (it's available in a number of lengths) as it fit our needs. Got back, threw it in, worked like a charm. Speeds are where there supposed to be, no connection issues. That's about al I can ask from a cable designed for a specific task.

Great cable if your setup isn’t close to your router I personally run mine from my Ethernet outlet into my setup across my room which I run under my bed so it’s discrete would recommend no lag for the past 2 years don’t miss lag at all great high download speeds aswell

Great cat 5 cable. I needed it to connect to my EarthLink port before I could hook up my 4K blue ray player up to my Vizio TV. The rest of my house is set up to WiFi so I might put a WiFi usb into my br player.
As I wasn’t able to do anything with it. Or maybe I will hook it up to my computer to update it.

This cable is very sturdy, and was a great replacement for a flimsy cable that was provided by my internet provider that slowed down my information speed into the computer.

My apartment has no wifi but it has ethernet ports. My computer is pretty far from the ethernet plug so my cable has to stretch pretty far. It's been stepped on and played with by cats and it's still perfectly fine. Good speeds on it too.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear that the connection has been solid and reliable, and that switching to Ethernet has made a noticeable difference in stability. It’s great to know the durability and performance have met your expectations. We appreciate your support and thoughtful insight.

I used this item to reconnect my Ooma line to my ethernet. A sales person helped me select it or I would not have known where to start. I wish it came in more varieties of lengtns as this is way more cord than I need. But it accomplished what I needed it to do.
