Well, it was 50 feet long, gray, had two male connectors that were wired correctly. Yep it's a working ethernet cable.

It's a cable. I plug it in, signals travel along it, and all is well. What can I say about a cable? The length is as advertised, the connectors connect, and little electrons move through it close to light speed.
