Exactly What I Needed

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was wondering why, after upgrading the speed of my Internet, I wasn't getting the speeds that I should have been per my new plan. After some investigation, I discovered that I was using a Cat-5e Ethernet Cable, and that I would get faster speeds using a Cat-6 Ethernet Cable. This cable does exactly what I expected, hoped and needed it to do. Now, I'm able to get the speeds that I should be getting from my ISP, and it's long enough of a cable that it isn't pulled too tightly trying to reach from the back of my PC to the back of my router.

It worked perfectly to connect a Time Warner/Spectrum router to a Samsung 8500 curved smart TV.. One great thing is it is long enough to connect and not show since it gives you enough length to route it easily. But the best thing is it provided s a very high speed connection to the TV and you don't have to be concerned about WiFi passwords. The streaming of NetFlix, Amazon Prime etc. is never slowed down. I realize WiFi works great too, but if you don't want to have to enter SSID's and passwords it is really great. So I loved the cable.

We purchased it to adapt it to a Wi-Fi box. We haven't had any issues since purchasing it, and our internet works great without any problems. I recommend this purchase.

The wireless connection just wasn't getting the speed to the back of the house like I needed and paid for. This cable was the answer. did some running in the attic and down the interior wall. now I am hooked up to my home computer and getting full speeds. The cable appears to be of very good quality and even all the pulling I did the ends stayed on and work great.
