I wasn’t sure how far an Ethernet cable could go, but Mr. Google told me about 100 meters (over 300 feet). So at 150 feet this is well within safe technical limits. I use it to connect my streaming switcher to a router and it works great.

The Insignia Cat-6 cables are my go to cables for all my network needs they are very durable cables and have a great connection. I always have a few in my travel bag for connecting to router without having to dig one out of the closet. Cable won't break or go bad its stiff but not so stiff that you can't route it.

Always name brand with cables, especially if you are going a long distance. Cheep Cat 5 cables encounter "packet loss" with slows down internet speed and access. Go with the cheep stuff, get what you pay for.

Bought this and all I have to say is I will be good for YEARS to come!! It handles up to 10gbs of internet speed which means for the next 10+ years I won’t need a new cord and I can already tell my electronics run sooooo much smoother and faster. This is by far the best ethernet cord that I've ever bought! I bought it to do online work from home. I found that it's speed was not slower than my internet speed because of the number of devices we have connected to the internet, similar to other ethernet cables I've had before. Rather, after I connected it, I ran an internet speed test, and it showed the fastest speed I've ever known internet and an ethernet cord to run. Note: the speed of this cord, of course (to my knowledge), would depend on how fast your internet connection is and what your computer is capable of also. (I have a rather high-functioning computer that meets high expectations for online work so I'm not sure that my statements will be true for everyone.) The only reason I only put 4 stars for ease of use is that the cord is just a little bit challenging to bend, which may be something that someone would want to know. This was not a big deal for me, though (and I was being picky to put that).

This wire is perfect length for behind the tv or gaming set up reaches the adapter perfectly and not a lit of extra length. Good strong connection never falls out
