I recommend the Insignia brand just because of the better build quality. No latency at all up to 1000mbps! At first it did say only 100mbps, but I just did the replug and it went up to 1000mpbs, so do that or maybe use a different port on your router.

It still works as great as the day I installed it. I've tried several Ethernet Cables from other Office Supply Stores. They were flimsy, and the connectors were not snug. They often became loose and would fall out. The Cat-6 is heavy duty, the plugs fit snugly into the jacks and 'lock into place'. The prongs are covered and protected from breaking. What a difference this mighty little Cat-6 cable has made with my router performance and computer speed. Glad I bought it. Won't use anything else!

So I turned to my favorite store (Best Buy) to purchase this one. It was really long and it works great. Best buy in town!!
