I bought this one to do a certain job and it works just fine. I will say this though...I asked one of the employees at Best Buy why the light gray cord was more expensive than the dark gray cord. He said the dark gray network cable was an older model. The lighter gray network cable was a newer model. He said they both work just fine, so there was nothing to worry about if I decided to buy the darker gray Network cable. But, I got the newer model, light gray, Network cable, just for my own piece of mind. I had just spent over $1,000 on a new computer. So I figured that a few extra dollars for a more up to date cable would be the best way to make sure that everything was totally compatible. And, I'm happy with my decision.

The longer cable works just as well as the shorter one with the added benefit of the extra length.

Needed longer cable and this fit the bill!

Everything worked and now I'm off and running with the next technical fix.

Yes i did upgrade my router and modem but my speed went from 10mbs to 400 mbs so yes i'm more then happy with the outcome. They feel super strong and quality and I don't think you will find a better cable at this price.

Some might think 50 dollars for a cable is bad, but a 100 foot cable that helped me increase my Internet speeds from 100 Mbps to 500 Mbps download by allowing me to move my modem is definitely worth it
