If you need fast internet by all means but this it is the best for gaming also it is easy to setup just plug it in to your router and then just plug it in were ever you want it very good quality and good for long distance stuff

when I updated my computer I was not able to get wi-fi. needed a fix quick. I went to several places and they did not carry the product. I was a little skeptical about the price but I needed it and it worked better than I could have hoped for. Now I have a connection at all times.

My wife works remote & had a big video presentation to make. Much to no ones surprise, the day of the presentation our wi-fi was acting up. We recently re-feng shui'd our basement which moved her work area further from our router which didn't aid the situation. Signal wasn't strong enough. She called me at work nervous and anxious. I knew what to do. I went to my favorite Best Buy and got this ethernet cord. Combined this with the Linksys Powerline 1000, also from Best Buy, and plugged it in to her lap top. Boom it's like she's got a direct ethernet line to the router upstairs from the basement. Presentation went great. A few days later received a 6% raise. Buy this ethernet cord. It'll get you paid and closer to.

I needed a longer Ethernet cable to connect my desktop to my router, and this Insignia cable did the trick perfectly. The 25' length was exactly what I needed, and the gray color blended well. I recently subscribed to T-Mobile Home Internet but wanted to hard-wire the gateway into my existing mesh network because the standalone gateway doesn’t adequately cover my house. I have a centrally located primary router and 2 remote nodes that provide great coverage, but the cell signal isn’t strong enough in the center of my house or where my old cable modem was located. To physically connect the new gateway to the router, I needed to install a new Cat 6 Ethernet cable between them. Unfortunately the most accessible route to run Ethernet between the new wireless gateway and my router was about 125 feet. I researched a bunch of different cables available at big box hardware stores and online retailers and found a lot of chatter about mislabeled cables that claim to be Cat 6 but are actually Cat 5. Reviews of this cable were all positive so I picked it up and tested it to make certain it was Cat 6 and would handle full speed from the gateway (I’m getting about 250-300 MBPS from T-Mobile). This affordable Ethernet cable will be a negligible investment over time as I’m saving about $15 per month. I now have a solid Internet connection throughout my house at a lower price than what I was paying to the Cable company.

It works as it should and is durable! The speed of this cable is just as good as the fancy packaged ones for sale for three times the amount. If you are networking on a budget, this is going to get you going.
