I've never used an Insignia charger before so I was anxious to see how well it worked. This is a beefy charger. It's not light by any means but that's exactly what you want in a 100W charger. It looks pretty much like all other wall chargers, very nondescript. There are no indicators or really any writing on it to tell you what it does. If you look very closely, you can just barely make out some marking on it but they are faint. You really don't need any explanation anyway, one end goes into the wall, the other end can accept USB-C cables. But as I found out later, it could matter depending on what you're charging. There are several nice features about this charging kit, the first is the fact that you can fold the AC prongs up into the body. This makes it easy to stash this charger in a bag or backpack side pocket. You could probably fit it in your pocket but I think that would be uncomfortable. The second feature is the included 8 foot charging cable that's rated for 100W@5A. That's what you need for charging larger devices such as laptops and tablets that will pull more current to fast charge them. What this charger does excel at is, well, charging things fast! Everything I plug in charges very fast. My phone and tablet both show “fast charging”. It doesn't matter whether I'm using one port or both of them at the same time. This charger is just able to supply the max charge needed for my Galaxy Book, my Galaxy Tab or my S10. If you look closely at the specs, you'll notice that the two ports are not equal. It doesn't seem to matter if you're only using one port for charging, the charger can supply 100W of total charging power. If you're going to use both ports simultaneously, a quick look at the instructions shows that you'll want to use the port that's closer to the center for any laptop charging. Then the other port can be used for tablets, phones or other smaller devices. When using both ports, the wattage breakdown is a little different, the center one supplies 65W and the other one will supply 30W. So you do have to pay attention if you want your devices to charge as you're expecting them to. It would be nice if there was a more obvious indication of which port to use for which purpose printed on the case. It wasn't until I read through the instructions that noticed there was a difference between the two ports. The photo of the charger on the box does show the case printing as being a lot more pronounced than it actually is on the charger, so just something I thought was worth mentioning. If you're looking for a dual port charger that can really supply what your devices demand, this is a good choice. I've been using it for over a week now and it always charges my devices really quickly.

I am no electrician, so as a normal consumer, I get a little confused with the numbers that are associated with fast charging USB-C devices. As a phone charger, this device can’t be beat; it’s the first charger I’ve used that showed super fast charging. I’ve charged two devices at once (one was a Windows laptop) and it charged both, relatively quickly. But, depending on your computer (I can’t speak to Macbooks) there are some limitations. But what really impressed me was that this wasn’t your typical Insignia “budget” item. It is a quality charger and cable. IN THE BOX The packaging is small, it includes the charger, which is pretty small, given what’s inside, but larger than what you think of in terms of a phone charger. Think Apple Macbook charging brick but only two thirds the size. You also get a pretty nice 8 foot long USB-C to USB-C charging cable. Nice, insomuch as it’s braided and durable. That’s it. There’s a little pamphlet about how the charging works, but speaking as someone with relatively little understanding of wattage, it was a bit confusing. I understand it in theory, but I just don’t memorize what my devices allow/require in terms of charging. USE Again, as a USB-C charger, it’s great. It has two ports. It can super charge two phones at one time. It’s incredible. Have two kids’ Amazon tablets? No big deal, it can charge them up at the same time. When it comes to two small devices, i.e. tablets or phones, it works great and will charge your devices as fast as your devices allow. In other words, your charger won’t be the bottleneck. The confusion and issues, if you will, come when you throw a computer into the mix. I have two ASUS gaming laptops. Once is a 13 inch the other is a 16 inch. The former came with a USB-C charger. The latter has a large charging brick. They both actually charged with a USB-C charger, but neither permitted me to use the laptop in full performance mode. (they both have discrete GPUs). It didn’t prevent me from using the laptop as I wanted. I couldn’t put it in “performance” mode, but it I could still do what I wanted - presumably because it was using the GPU off battery. I did try to charge my phone at the same time. My phone still charged at super speeds so I was pretty happy. When I travel with my smaller ASUS computer, I’m not generally playing games, etc. so I don’t need (I looked it up, 165 W of power), so only having one charger to charge both at pretty quick speeds is a win. I should also mention, I didn’t time how long it took to charge my laptop, but it didn’t seem any longer (just charging) than the charger that came with it. CONCLUSION This is a fantastic charger. I can say, generally speaking, it will charge two USB-C devices super fast. But it is probably worth researching what devices you intend to use with it, and see if it matches up. But for most of us, it’s a terrific super charging 2 USB-C device that is well built.

Small, compact, light weight. Does not come with a usb c cable, but I already had one that is rated for 100w. Charges my Lenovo P15s laptop (which uses a 65w adapter) plus all my tablets and iphones. The adapter generates very little heat. Excellent price when on sale.

I take my PC from home to office and back home five days a week. The Insignia 100-watt dual charger has eliminated my excursions under the desk to plug in. I now have power available at both workstations (super convenient). Since the charger stays plugged in, I have been able to route cabling out of the way. Who would have thought a new charger would give me a better-organized desk? As the name says, this dual-port charger is rated at 100 watts. The two ports have icons indicating computer and accessory power connections. I have been using both ports simultaneously, and my PC and Android phone (S22 Ultra) are powered and charged at speeds indistinguishable from their respective OEM chargers. My notebook shipped with a 90-watt charger. This Insignia 100-watt charger does get pretty warm when powering/charging the laptop (i7/integrated graphics), but after several days in use I am satisfied that heat isn’t a problem. It’s never uncomfortable to the touch, just noticeably warm. To sum up: Good charger. Recommended.

Greay charger. Durable, small, and powerful. A little heavy, but not horrible.

Works well with any fast charging supported device. Dual usb c ports makes it easy to run two devices at once. Only issue is that it was heavy so unless you gave a good outlet to plug it into it might fall out.

This works in the US, Canadian, EU and other countries (as long as you have the adapter so that you can plug it in). It handles 100-240V AC. It's a great adapter to keep in your cable bag for travel. If you lose or forget your laptop adapter on a trip, this fills in nicely.

Charges fast, does not heat up and its fairly compact...

I have been getting more products from Insignia, which is Best Buy's store brand, and i have been always impressed by the value of the products for the price. This particular product can charge your macbooks, tablets, and phones through USB-C. I use this personally to charge my android devices and i like that it is really fast and can support multiple devices.

I needed dual usb-c ports for a 39w max game console and a 10w portable monitor. The bottom port dishes out a hefty 75w for charging laptops, while the top port pushes out 25w. The foldable plugs make it slightly compact as well.

I really like that I can charge my MBP and another device on the same brick, the struggle to find an open outlet can be real sometimes. I keep this one generally keep this one in my laptop bag for when I travel. My wife needed a travel charger as well, so I ordered this one for her.

YOU MUST HAVE A CABLE THAT CAN HANDLE 100W. That being said I love this wall plug it does the job super fast it charges ipad,steam deck, samsung s24 ultra.

The block is solid but leaves something to be desired in the weight of it. The block seems to want to slip out, even on a less worn wall sockets (U.S. based wall sockets. The thin profile helps in utilizing the hardware on a tight power strip or small spaces. The Insignia Cable needs a L-shaped male connector on one end or at least a sturdy attachment. The straight in connector is not ideal for all device charging setups. My insignia 100w cable is losing its integrity around the male connectors' base (giggity). It's a fantastic product for charging but coupling multiple insignia products together, you'd think there would be better longevity.

As I keep adding devices, I had multiple charging blocks. This has cleared the clutter and allowed me to use one block and charge two devices at once. This includes my iPhone/ Apple Watch / air pods / steam deck / Nintendo switch / power bank. Got it on sale for around $30.

This charger has worked great so far to power my HP work laptop. It’s very convenient to have two USB-C ports and up to 100W to be able to charge multiple devices at once. The charger is much smaller than the one that came with my computer and was my primary reason for purchasing it.

Works as it should. Charges 2 devices. Up to 50W split. Use it for Steam Deck and Phone mostly, and can charge them both quickly!!

This charger can definitely reach 100w when only one device is plugged in. Smaller and ligher than apple’s, and cheaper too. Doesn’t get warm which is reassuring. The shape is also great when plugged into a power strip, I can use the plugs right next to it

Compact and fast charging. Apple charges $100 or more for their fast chargers, and they don't have dual ports, nor do they charge as fast. Plus, they are not as portable as this. This is the best charger for the price and size.
