Safe and easy to use. Heats fast. You would need a metal pot!

I originally bought this to keep water warm when I am eating stuff like Vietnamese spring rolls and Shabu-Shabu. However, this has replaced my range. It's so easy to set up and put away when not in use. The only thing to note is that it's not quiet...

It heats ultra fast. Cools quickly. Not noisy. One stupid thing is that the led readout doesn’t show the temp. Huh? The booklet tells you what each tap of the temp means in relation to temperature from low to high. Stupid. Works super but that bugs me big time.

I have two of these...this is my second one. I love how easy they are to use and the option of temperature or scale. They are attractive as the top is very shiny and easy to clean. I also like that they lock as they can't be accidentally turned on.

Certainly willing to give 5 stars but it creates some noise during operation which is grabbing attention. Otherwise sleek design and does the job well

I purchased this device to substitute my old single use electric coil cooking top. I found this device more safe and efficient and fun to use. The only drawback of this device is that it cannot be used with all cooking pots, and should be checked out.

Extremely fast for heating up water for coffee in my steel pots. As fast as a microwave. A little longer base than I expected. It’s’ noticeable fan is something I wasn’t expecting, but not a deal breaker. Paid under $40, happy.

Once you learn to use the magnet included in the box to understand if a pot is made or not of steel, you'll love it as I do. It warms up everything so nice and so fast. Forget about using your fancy aluminum pots.

We bought this to use during a kitchen remodel job. I have only tested it out so far, but worked great, heated food quickly, easy to use. It will come in handy as an extra burner on holidays and other special occasions.

Met expectations, Easy to use & keep clean. Heats most pans quickly, a bit longer for cast iron. Temp regulation works well. Make sure you have induction ready cookware.

Great cooktop you can use near any standard outlet. Very adjustable temperature settings. Perfect for when you need that extra burner. Just be sure you have pots/pans that work with an induction cooktop.

Larger than a portable burner with a heating coil, but safer. Just remember that it uses induction and the pans you use need to say they work on induction cooktops. If a magnet sticks to the pan, it will work.

You can heat liquids very quickly with this induction cooktop. Too bad it doesn't come with a steel pot or kettle as aluminum and some of the other materials my pots and kettles are made of don't work on it.

Handy to use on the counter top. Can only use with pans that attract a magnet but that was no problem for me.

This is my first induction cooker, I have used it once and there seems to be no problem with it. This stove is good size and pretty fast to heat it up . But it is noisy!

Controls are easy and there are no buttons or knobs to get dirty. Takes long to boil water but not sure if another pan with more iron content would work better. More interested in temperature control.

I ordered this because I have been intrigued for awhile by induction cooking but would be highly unlikely to ever put out the money for a range or full-size cooktop of this type. I also figured in summer it would be nice to avoid the excess heat created by my normal coil burners. Mostly so far I have used this to boil water, and it is fine for that purpose. But most recently I used it to simmer a rice mix, and that didn't go as well. Even on the lowest setting it cooked too quickly, and the bubbling in the pan suggested the cooktop was cycling on and off instead of creating a continuous energy stream. This can be problematic for anything other than boiling liquid alone. I am not entirely sure whether this is a defect or inherent to the cooktop, or to induction cooking in general, but I did read it in another review. Overall, an intriguing item, and the $40 I paid was worthwhile just to try it out, but I'm not sure it is practical for most uses.

Good to have on the bar to keep dips warm. No worries of burns from someone touching it. Small footprint, Need the right type of pan though.

Reason for 4 star is because you have to purcahse a pan that magnets can stick to. Other than that, it is a little loud but not annoying. Gets the cooking done at work/home.

Purchased as deal of the day, so price was good value. Use is primarily outside and easy enough to carry. Heats quickly and works as expected.
