As a teacher we don't really have time to heat up lunch let alone cook anything. I buy those $6 frozen Bertolli's and go to WORK! I use an induction ready TFal skillet. It only takes 10 minutes and I do it while my students are eating their lunch in the class. Makes life so much more simpler. It's less sodium intake versus the traditional TV dinner. LOVE IT! =)

Perfect for small condo-size makeshift kitchen when I didn’t want a full 4-burner range w/oven. Perfect for boiling shrimp and cooking anything in a pot or skillet. Bought an inexpensive pot and skillet made for induction cooking. When I get ready for a range in my new house, I think I will go with induction. Cheaper than electric to operate and much cheaper than gas (preferred) in price and plumbing for gas.

Somewhat loud compared to other induction cooktops but at this price-point, can’t complain! Very good build quality and makes those home-made shabu-shabu hotpot nights a breeze. If I had to complain, I’d expect this thing to include a pot/pan but honestly induction compatible cookware is plentiful.

I initially purchased the small appliance for my nine year old daughter who loves to cook but was never allowed to use the range. Safety is imperative. Supervised children benefit as well. We are simply amazed at what this induction surface does.

Very good electric induction cooktop for those own don’t have gas. Heats up faster than regular electric cooktops. Very efficient, saves energy, and you’re up and cooking faster. Would have been better if it had a temperature readout display for things that require exact cooking temperatures. Just need to cross reference to manual for temperature settings.

My wife likes that it is small enough to move around and it heats pretty fast. and keeps temperature. She doesn't like that it doesn't handle large pots well. It just gets too hot with her dutch oven and shuts off, so recipes with a longer cook time don't work out.

I recently received this and it is just what I was seeking for my Downstairs Den. I considered putting in a full 'kitchenette' and decided to make my own, including this cook-top. I added an Insignia microwave, an air fryer, and look forward to adding an Insignia 'mini-fridge' with separate refrigerator and freezer compartments. Hopefully you will enjoy cook-top as well...

Never used one of these or thought it would be any different from ordinary cook tops. But after having it for a while now, I would not use anything else. There is a very wide variety foods that can be cooked on this. Seriously, many food items. And very very fast and complete. Every kitchen should have one of these.

Bought to use outside next to grill. This allows me to cook a or keep something warm while I finish off on the patio. Portable cooktop heats fairly quickly and is made for smaller pots around 8 or so inches. Not good for large pots such as 10 or 12 inch.

I am very impressed with this induction cooktop. It boils water in no time, is easy to use and efficient. I have fried fish using it as well as scrambled eggs. Had to invest a little $ in compatible cookware but got a set of 3 skillets at Kitchen Collection for $30.
