Very nice bottom freezer fridge, that is 1 of the reasons that motivated me to get this fridge, but pay attention this slim model doesnt come with the retractable/pull out freezer door instead we get old fashioned swing door, with no led lighting at all so it is very dark, overall it freezes nicely with no frost, and since it doesnt come with an ice maker you get a cube tray and container with a scoop. 2nd this is perfect for single/couples with no children, doesnt take up xtra space, u save about 10in. Width and 3-5in. Depth compared to traditional sized fridges, so in return is going to be more efficient, I mean this thing is freaking quiet, so quiet that it made me wonder if it was working or not that I touched the sides to feel motor vibrations and the sides were hot my older fridge never had that issue and it lasted 15yrs lets hope this lasts as long. 3rd and final, was the price, I paid 459.99 on a sale, looking at the features of bigger fridges I think paying 400-425 for this fridge is the correct amount, maybe if they upgrade/update the freezer make fridge 5 in. taller and make fixes to the door so u can grab open from the top too, then it might be worth the retail price of almost 600 they want for(06082024)

This is the perfect size for 2 people. We have a very small kitchen. We upgraded from a small dorm size refrigerator. The main reason we like this is the vegetables stay fresh longer and don't over freeze. This happened frequently with the smaller refrigerator. We had to keep everything in the front and couldn't use the back of the refrigerator because things would fresh things would freeze. So far it's been very quiet and low maintenance. The only gripe I have is the lack of handle for the top portion, sometimes it has strong suction and you can't use one hand to open the door from the top grip. I knew this going in so it doesn't detract from the stars. I also liked the price point of this refrigerator. Much lower than similar styles in other brands.

I bought this for our office and it’s just the right size. Fits perfectly well in the corner of our office and we had our maintainance guy change to door from right to left. He did it in 20 minutes.
All staffs very happy with the space and having the freezer below instead of above is a great design for our office because we all rarely use it.

This Insignia refrigerator has a sleek, modern design with sharp edges and offers surprisingly ample storage compared to bulkier models. It’s ideal for smaller spaces but still fits a lot of items efficiently. Initially, one of the door trays wasn’t aligned properly and kept falling, but I was able to fix it without much trouble. Overall, I have no complaints. If you’re working with limited space but need plenty of storage, this refrigerator is a solid choice. I’m very happy with it!

I recently moved, and there was no refrigerator in the new house. I saw this refrigerator for the first time when I visited the store. As someone who mainly uses the refrigerator compartment, I liked this product because it has a freezer underneath. The capacity was neither too big nor too small, so I thought it was suitable for single use. Therefore, I decided to buy it, but the problem was worrying about taking it with me. I immediately returned home and inquired online whether delivery was possible, and the customer service staff even helped me make the purchase and coordinate the delivery schedule. The delivery staff were also friendly and helped us move and install safely. It seems like it's been a few weeks since I purchased it, and I've been using it well because the design is simple, matches the atmosphere of my home, and is practical.

***sorry for the long review***
I looove this fridge! It came at a great price point with free shipping and install and they hauled away my old fridge no problem.
Delivery:
The guys delivering were very respectful and not sketch at all (as a single woman it was greatly appreciated) they were careful with the moving and maneuvered my doorways like a breeze. They took care of my old fridge and gave me a thorough review and explanation of the product.
Product:
•My very large fridge kicked the bucket, I didn’t want to break the budget but I also wanted to save some space. I am a live alone so this fridge is perfect for just me. I buy my groceries weekly and everything fits fine, more than that you’ll have to do some Tetris.
•The shelves on the door aren’t super deep, and the one on the top can barely hold anything (nothing taller than a box of butter.) The bottom shelf can fit a half gallon milk container in width and height, but anything higher than that it will not fit.
•The shelves inside the fridge can’t hold anything taller than a half gallon milk container, buuut the fridge is deceptively deep and you can lay the big stuff down. I utilize the fridge organizers and that helps a lot with space
•The drawers are nice, with two separate ones for fruits/veggies and deli, they are shallow but they are wide so everything can lay out pretty well
•The freezer has a shelf and a drawer for easy organization and it came with a super nifty ice cube tray and bucket with a little shovel (which I thought was precious)
Overall:
This fridge is great for a single person not needing a huge fridge, a solid option for a beverage/breast milk fridge

Waited over a month to write this review in order to make certain this refrigerator would last. It was purchased as a replacement for a similar sized stainless steel Whirlpool fridge/freezer whose motor/compressor both quit working less than two years after purchasing. LOVE this Insignia Stainless Steel fridge/freezer overall WAY more than the Whirlpool previously owned. Even though the Insignia is slightly smaller dimensionally than our previous fridge, it seems much larger because it is deeper and very well organized inside. We are able to fit more groceries/bottles in both the refrigerator and freezer of this Insignia than the Whirlpool. The deli/dairy drawer below the fruit/vegetable drawer is a nice touch that maximizes space and the butter area a plus. Shelves are all adjustable. LED lighting is absolutely wonderful; trust me, you don’t realize how much you need it in your life until you have it! Appreciate the mini ice cube holder and scooper that came with the freezer; nice touch. You can barely hear the Insignia running and the stainless steel looks sexy. Set up, delivery and haul away services were quick/professional by BestBuy and deeply appreciated (especially as a single disabled parent). Overall extremely happy, so happy that I wish I would have purchased this Insignia instead of the big name brand one that didn’t even make it two years!

Just needed a fridge for my small apartment. I got a small kitchen and my other fridge was just ment for a temporary but ended up lasting 3 years with it always driving me crazy when I went grocery shopping. This fridge is bigger, I can fit about 30% more stuff in it. The live the freezer at the bottom, wish it was slightly bigger but it’s a good amount of room. It’s taller than expected but fit through my 28 inch door easily. The delivery guys were very good and set everything up fast , no complaints. It’s quite too, if this last longer than 4-5 years, I will gladly buy this brand from now on, especially when on sale like I did. I would’ve got the stainless steel but after getting almost everything in my kitchen stainless steel. Everything just looks dark so I went with the white, with future products going to be multi colored to add more flare to my lil kitchen.

I couldn't be happier with this fridge! I had to upgrade from a 7 cu because needed more room but still had limited space in my studio. This unit size/configuration is perfect! I'm so happy I no longer have to worry about things freezing towards the back since it works like a standard kitchen fridge. Plus I LOVE that it has a separate deli drawer. I feel like I have a luxury apt fridge! And getting it on sale for nearly half of was just icing on the cake!!
Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re thrilled to hear that the fridge has been the perfect fit for your studio and storage needs. It’s great to know the configuration, separate deli drawer, and reliable performance have made such a positive difference. Getting it at a great price makes it even better. We truly appreciate your support and feedback.

Limited by 24” width, in a compact kitchen, this Insignia refrigerator is a perfect replacement. Quiet and with excellent temperature control. Storage for everything a family of 2-3 reasonably uses or a perfect overflow refrigerator. The door can be reversed, but be aware there are no handles. To open there is a recess between the doors to pull them open, or simply grab the door edge. I wish there was a light in the freezer, but that’s not a deal breaker. The stainless finish is good at hiding fingerprints and smudges.

I purchased this to fit in my small galley kitchen I remodeled. Very functional and a fraction of the price of a larger one. It works well if your a person who likes to shop often for food because it does not hold a ton of food. I absolutely love it. Smooth seamless design handle at bottom of door. Keep everything cold. Modern and functional!

If you're in the market for a no-frills refrigerator that gets the job done without any fuss, the Insignia™ 11.5 Cu. Ft. Bottom Mount Refrigerator in White is worth considering.
In terms of design, this fridge keeps it simple with a clean white exterior that won't draw too much attention. The bottom mount configuration is practical, allowing easy access to the refrigerator section at eye level. The freezer compartment below provides sufficient storage space for frozen items.
With its 11.5 cubic feet of capacity, this refrigerator offers adequate room for your groceries and essential food items. The interior layout is functional, featuring adjustable shelves, door bins, and produce drawers that let you organize your goods to some extent. However, keep in mind that the materials used for the shelves may not hold up well under the weight of heavy items.
When it comes to cooling performance, the Insignia™ refrigerator does a decent job of maintaining a consistent temperature throughout. Your perishables should stay fresh for an acceptable amount of time. The bottom mount design helps in energy efficiency, as the compressor doesn't have to work as hard to circulate cool air. Another plus point is its quiet operation, which minimizes noise disruption in your living space.
And installation was so smooth. great guys

BEWARE if you are using this as a garage fridge had to upgrade my electrical outlet to a 20 a because it kept tripping it on a 20 amp breaker, most fridges are actually known for causing this issue, but was not a big deal because either way I was planning to upgrade my electrical outlets to 20 amp in my garage. Bought this refrigerator for my garage mainly as a drink refrigerator because I drink multiple different drink drinks. Overall, I wish the fridge got colder. I did remove some shelves in the freezer and interior to make room for more functional beverage fridge. One thing to keep Note this fridge will not get as cold as you think. If this thing breaks which would not be surprised if it does in the coming years, I would probably spend around $1000-2000 for my next fridge bigger brand fridge. For my garage fridge. Commercial style fridge. If you have the money to spend 1000 or 2000 I would consider it these things don’t not get cold. I like my drinks borderline frozen.

Amazing fridge for the price! Got this for my parents and now they have extra space for all their foods they can't go without. It is considered a smaller than normal fridge which is exactly what we needed due to our small kitchen. For the price it is rather hard to beat. Best Buy also delivers and hauls away our old appliances.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are delighted to hear that the fridge has provided your parents with extra space for their essential foods and fits perfectly in your small kitchen. It's great to know that you found it to be an excellent value for the price. We appreciate your support and look forward to continuing to serve you.

Do NOT trust the temperature settings

This refrigerator looks nice and fits well into small spaces. However, we've had the unit one day and the refrigerator operating temperature is in significant error. It measured 50F after 12 hours on the colder of the "recommended" setting, which the manual says should be 37.4F. Do NOT trust the four refrigerator temperature settings without checking with a thermometer! The freezer, however, is happily holding 0F, so that seems to be operating correctly.
The installation is in our utility room and is fairly tight (3"+ on each side, 6" in back, and 10"-15" on top), and the washer/dryer are stacked next to the refrigerator. The manual wants 4" on all sides and 12" above. To check if ventilation clearance is the problem, I pulled the refrigerator into the middle of the room, but it didn't significantly change the refrigerator operating temperature.
Leaving the refrigerator in the middle of the room, I then put it in the "coldest" setting, which should be 35.6F, but the combination of temperature setting & large clearances only dropped the refrigerator to 45F. This indicates that clearances aren't the issue. The fact that the freezer operates correctly in all of the above scenarios also indicates that clearances aren't the issue. Finally, it negates any question about the adjacent washer/dryer causing the issue.
The manual says the refrigerator can operate in climates ranging from 50F-110F. The utility room is the warmest room in our house, so I measured the temperature at the top of the refrigerator. 76F, so that's not the issue.
The manual shows that the four refrigerator settings range from 35.6F ("coldest") to 42.8F ("cold") per page 14 of the manual. However, the specifications on page 20 note that the refrigerator may operate between 34F-50F. This is troubling since many foods need to be stored below 40F and brings to question whether this model is adequate for use beyond sodas/beers. It's possible that this unit is calibrated to the high end, but a 16F error is unacceptable.
I contacted Best Buy and they noted two options: 1. Replace the unit, or 2. Send a technician. Troubleshooting continues to point towards an issue with the refrigerator (not freezer), so we're going to request a replacement unit after Christmas.
As for usability, the unit has decent storage but the primary shelves are not adjustable. Some common items don't fit because of this and have to be stored on their sides. May not be a deal breaker, but something to be aware of.

I love this refrigerator! It’s the only one with this configuration I could find for under $1000! And it looks much more high-end than comparably priced top freezer models.

Very convenient in size for small spaces. We are using it in our laundry you can use the doors and drawers easily with same width spaces.you don’t need extra space on the sides. Efficient for a second refrigerator great value , consistent temperature. Freezer is a little small insize but this is expected when you buy this small size.
