I believe the refrigerator has poor packaging. When cleaning it as it was recommended to clean it before used, I noticed all 6 corners of the shelf guides are all cracked. I contacted Bestbuy, all they can do is exchange. I have already spent an hour to switch the door opening and don't want to deal with the hassle again. You are paying a new product that should be considered as open box or refurbished. Hope this review help with your decision.
We’re sorry to hear about the issues with the refrigerator’s packaging and the condition of the shelf guides. It’s certainly frustrating to deal with such problems, especially after the effort of setting up the appliance. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve our packaging and quality control processes. If there’s anything more we can do to assist or if you have additional concerns, please let us know. I had purchased this item as an open box! They were damaged to side prior to purchasing the item which I accepted because of the pricing but then once I received the item from delivery the whole entire front of the item was dent! Customer service will help me! They say I must contact the store so I contacted the store via their phone number which goes to a call center not the store! Only way to get assistance is to go into the actual store which is horrible because there’s very few associates and I have to wait hours to get help I don’t think so!

I bought this “thing” 2 months ago, it gets malfunctioning, talking with support agent, I have to bring the fridge to a shop center for review and diagnostic. How the heck can I carry a 11.5 fridge at no cost. Come on. No solution that Insignia fridge is garbage and Best Buy customer support is a lie

Simple, clean styling. Whisper-quiet, barely audible when running. Very roomy for only 11.5 cu. ft., and bottom-freezer design allows super-easy access to refrigerator: no bending down, and I’m 6’4. Large produce and deli drawers slide out smoothly. Plenty of door storage. Nice interior lighting (refrigerator only). Contents remain well chilled even on Medium Cold setting. Shallow electrical plug design means unit can be placed closer to a wall, which is a big plus in smaller spaces. My sole refinement would be a recessed handle on the side of the refrigerator door instead of on the bottom, which is a bit awkward to reach down for (I just grab the side of the door to open it anyway). Highly recommended overall and competitively priced. Manufactured by Haier.

I never thought I'd love a refrigerator, but I love this new one! It's plenty big enough for one person, with lots of room left over, and I like that it isn't too wide or too deep to lose things in. I was worried that there was no light in the freezer section, but I just keep a flashlight nearby -- maybe someday I will come up with another solution but for now this works fine. It's nice having a crisper that is visible and accessible, and the little drawer underneath for cheese etc is useful too. And the door shelves are great, and adjustable.

Small kitchen in 2 br house, so only needing fridge space for 2-3 people, and grocery store is close anyway. Some observations: Drawers compete with door a little, had to determine just the right position for the door to open drawers without hitting it; instructions to switch hinges are not well written and could be frustrating for someone not already pretty handy; no freezer light; no handle, only a groove at the bottom of the door, and while it looks sleek I have to bend down to open the thing. On the other hand, it's really, really quiet when the compressor runs; shelving is well placed; it's super easy to see all the veggies in the drawer through the bottom shelf. In all, I'm very satisfied with it!

I hate how bulky typical refrigerators are, especially with limited kitchen space. For reference on how much we typically refrigerate, we cook all of our food at home, but we're not really the type to keep tons of extra snacks around--even if we did, though, it's surprisingly roomy! I love that the deli drawer is a shorter height than usual, because for us that vertical space was almost always wasted. A bottom freezer is a non-negotiable for us, and this is the only fridge in this price range that checked that box.
Overall it's the perfect amount of storage for us. Plus, it's counter-depth, and the narrow width fits into a tight space in our kitchen that allowed us to relocate it and utilize the old fridge spot for more counter space. The freezer is pretty small if you have tons of frozen stuff, but we were able to organize it well enough to fit all of our usuals. Highly recommend!

This refrigerator runs very quiet, has lots of room for daily produces. The design is slick, and the size is perfect for 2 people. I picked this frig for my daughters, who are students and live in rental place, and they move often. I purchased this product from BB due to costs and they provided full service. They are on time and very professional. I am very happy with the product and service so far.

Very nice refrigerator, works as mentioned and keeps everything perfectly cool.
The design is sleek and modern, fitting well in my kitchen space.
Shelving is adjustable and convenient for storing larger items.
It runs quietly, which is a big plus compared to my old fridge.
Overall, a great value for the price—highly recommend from Best Buy!
Appreciate the detailed review, TechyGuy! From adjustable shelves to quiet operation and a sleek design—it’s clear this fridge checked all the boxes. Cheers to cool, quiet storage! |Angelica| Insignia Products|
