    Compact and Efficient

I recently purchased the Insignia™ 11.5 Cu. Ft. Bottom Mount Refrigerator in Stainless Steel, and I have been thoroughly impressed with its performance, design, and features. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed the sleek stainless steel finish, which gives the refrigerator a modern and stylish appearance. It blends seamlessly with my other kitchen appliances and adds a touch of elegance to the space. The compact size is perfect for my small kitchen, and despite its smaller footprint, it offers ample storage for my needs. The bottom mount freezer is a game-changer. It allows for easy access to frequently used refrigerated items at eye level, making it more convenient and reducing the need to constantly bend down. The freezer compartment is spacious enough to store a variety of frozen goods and has a user-friendly layout with drawers and shelves that make organizing effortless. Inside the refrigerator, adjustable shelves and door bins provide flexibility in arranging my groceries, making it easy to accommodate items of different shapes and sizes. The humidity-controlled crisper drawers keep my fruits and vegetables fresh for an extended period, which helps reduce food waste. One feature that I appreciate is the energy efficiency of this Insignia™ refrigerator. It has an Energy Star certification, which means it consumes less power without sacrificing performance. This not only saves money on my energy bills but also contributes to a more sustainable lifestyle. If there's one downside, it's that the stainless steel finish can be prone to fingerprints and smudges. However, this is a minor issue and can be easily addressed with regular cleaning. In summary, the Insignia™ 11.5 Cu. Ft. Bottom Mount Refrigerator has exceeded my expectations in terms of design, functionality, and efficiency. Its compact size, modern appearance, and smart features make it an ideal choice for small kitchens or those looking to optimize their space. I highly recommend this refrigerator to anyone in need of a stylish and practical solution for their kitchen.

    The Perfect Fridge

You can get a lot in this refrigerator, very efficient space wise. It’s not a ridiculously small dorm fridge. We purchased this model because of its dimensions - not too wide, or deep. We needed some thing for a small farmhouse kitchen, to replace the big pig of a fridge that used to be there. Also, it seems to work really well. The freezer doesn’t have ice buildup, or any of the other common problems of small refrigerators. Everything works great, highly recommended. Plus, it looks a lot better, having more space in the kitchen feels much better.

I really like this fridge! I have a small condo kitchen, so not a lot of choices. It’s bright, quiet and roomy enough for me. Doesn’t really show finger prints. Love the deli drawer. Delivery guys were really nice, too! Only negative: I’m kind of tall and the door handle is at the bottom of the door. I wish it had a handle on the top as well - but I can deal. The fridge is a great deal, I hope it lasts! And yes: those are tulips in the door and they like fridge as much as I do

Great fridge! Space saving for small apartments or studios with ample shelves. First time having a bottom freezer fridge, but really like. Easy to set up, great looking and lots of space. It even included an ice tray, with lid and scoop! Freezer works well, and freezes fast. Fridge can cool down with a push of the settings button for rapid cooling or energy saving presets. Super quiet and bright inside. I doors can be switched from left to right to open.

So far so good. I’ve had this refrigerator for about a month. It’s very quiet and because I have a small kitchen, it fits great. This is a perfectly good fridge for a household of two or even three. If you’re looking for an extra refrigerator for the garage or basement, this would also work great. A plus is that the freezer has its own door (not a drawer) and is located on the bottom.

I had been wanting a freezer bottom fridge but most that I looked at for our limited space were too wide or ridiculously tall. The few that met our space requirements were at least twice the price. We’ve had this for 2 months and very happy so far. It is very quiet, well insulated and has a sleek, simple design. One minor design flaw is that the deli and crisper drawers tend to hit the gasket on the door and so we already have small tears in the gasket. Could easily be remedied with smoother edges.

I love this refrigerator! It is sleek and beautiful inside and out! It keeps food at perfect temperature in top and bottom. Love how quiet it is also. Holds a lot of food in both sections. So easy to find food in the bottom freezer and really like the compartments in the fridge area. I highly recommend this refrigerator!

    Quiet Narrow Fridge; Well-Planned Interior!

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The Good: Highly recommended. This narrow Insignia fridge with the great price has such a well-organized interior you will not feel cramped using it. It fits a family-sized OJ bottle standing upright. The door shelves adjust to fit standing wine bottles (or I just lay them down). The extra-cold Deli drawer is perfect for soft cheeses and cold-cuts. The freezer has two simple open shelves that make it really easy to see and grab what you need. There's only one pull-out drawer at the very bottom right where you need it (where it would be hard to lower your head to see a shelf). Another narrow fridge brand has all drawers in the freezer. Pulling out heavy drawers of frozen foods and pawing through them to find what you want gets old. The Insignia fridge doors open wider than 90 degrees (wider than an L) so that you can pull shelves and drawers out. Another narrow fridge brand fridge opens only to 90. The Less Good: - The door vacuum is strong and so the door can be tough to open. Instead of using the handle, pinch and twist it open at the door seal with thumb and forefinger. - Even though the fridge door does open wider than 90 degrees, it is not by much, and especially not when loaded up with jars of food. So you must take care not to clip the door seal when pulling out the fruit/crisper and deli drawers. Those are very minor issues for a very good fridge. Time will tell how it holds up. I chose to buy the extended service plan.

We put this in our short term rental and it is beautiful. Best Buy delivery team was incredible. It is truly the perfect size refrigerator for a small home or apartment. The drawers inside are labeled which I love and it comes with the cutest ice tray. I’m so impressed!

So far i am loving this fridge! It works as expected. Its pretty. I purchased this fridge because I realized i dont need a 20+ cu ft fridge for 2 people. It saved me 2/3 the amount i would have spent on an unnecessarily large fridge AND i gained 15" of counterspace. It sticks out only slightly from counter depth. My only complaint is that the plastic barriers on the door compartments are pretty shallow, so larger items tend to topple. It won't be as much of an issue once its full of condiments. It still has a produce and deli drawer to help keep this organized and properly refridgerated. The freezer portion is larger than I was anticipating, so we get to save money on a smaller deep freeze. It even comes with an ice tray and bucket which is nice since we sacrificed the in door water/ice for a more compact design. I think I'll look on best buy for a countertop ice maker still, because we love crushed ice.

We ordered this fridge as back porch fridge for beverages when we have people over. It has exceeded all of our expectations. The reason for minus 1 star is it really should have a light in the freezer. It is a small but serviceable freezer, but hard to see into it with no light. Would certainly buy this again as it holds a LOT of beverages. The removal/adjustable door shelves can easily hold 4 bottles of wine. If I needed a compact fridge that feels like a full fridge I would not hesitate to purchase this one.

Brrrrr- it gets cold! And roomy!

My 8 yr old fridge was acting up- just not getting cold enough. It was too expensive to repair, so Ive been looking daily for a new refrigerator that would get ice cold, but wouldn’t cost a fortune. Inflation is tough! This refrigerator was the cheapest I could find, but still had the fridge on top and freezer on bottom. With the sale of 130 off the white version, I couldn’t pass it up. Delivered in perfect condition. Delivery guys said to wait for 4 hours and by 24 it should keep perfect temp. I have it set on recommended settings, and in 4 hours it has reached 37 degrees. It’s a tall fridge, and the layout is pretty good. The only issue is a 2 liter bottle of soda won’t stand without removing a shelf, but other than that, it works great for us. What more could I expect for this price? It gets ice cold and and the fridge is in the top- that’s what my main concern was in looking for a new one.

I’d been looking for a narrow fridge for my small space for so long. I really wanted the freezer on the bottom, I’m a tall guy and wanted the things I use most at eye-ish level. I also was not going to spend 1 to 2 thousand dollars on a fridge - ever. I’d seen this model online at Best Buy before, but it always said it was out of stock… until one day it didn’t! Only problem, it was the white one. I hate white appliances, but I ordered it anyway. For only $499 I would deal with it. I was given a delivery date about 6 weeks out. About 4 weeks later I saw that the stainless steel model was available, for $599. Customer service was awesome allowing me to cancel the order and switch to a stainless unit. One hundred bucks more - no sweat, still a fair price. Another 6 weeks to wait for delivery - understandable. I’ve had it now for a couple months and I love it! It’s quiet, spacious, beautifully styled, and it maintains a constant temperature. It was totally worth the wait! Thank you Best Buy for building a quality product and charging a fair price!

It's great except I wish the fridge got colder. I run it on the coldest setting. Which gets decently cold. The freezer is a little smaller than expected. Overall it's a nice looking appliance at a good price and I'm satisfied with the purchase.

So far so good. Seems larger than expected even knowing the dimensions, very roomy inside. Bought this after ordering a fridge the same size for 3x the price from Home Depot, was notified that it was back ordered but they still had it for sake on the site with a 3 day delivery as it showed when I bought mine-which was extended to a delivery date three months from purchase a month after purchase. Bought this instead and super glad we did! Works great!

The insignia refrigerator is compact and fits nicely in our garage. It has plenty of room and is designed well. My only complaint is you are limited to a total of two liter bottles that must fit in the provided door space. With the top shelf in place liter bottles will not fit in the fridge without laying them down. You can take out the top shelf, but then you loose storage space.

I bought this fridge for my basement and it is the perfect size - not near as big as a full size fridge but fits a lot inside. We use it for drinks and freezer overflow and it's great. It arrived with a dent and Best Buy took care of it right away. There is no light in the freezer - that's about the only drawback I can find. Yes, the front SS is a bit wavy, but it's $600! It is SO QUIET, I can't hear it at all. Love this fridge so far!
