    Not a great experience in any way

    I bought this item as a Mother's Day gift and the moment I arrived, I knew I had a problem. The box was damaged pretty significantly and was most of the way opened at the top. I couldn't refuse delivery because it was left on my doorstep when I wasn't home. (Thanks FedEx) Upon removal from the box, I instantly noticed the crushed hinge and sharp metal shards sticking up on the right side. I inspected it closer and found the whole frame had been misaligned from whatever shock did this damage. I had taken pictures of the damaged box for this exact reason, too. Things happen and I'm a reasonable person so I contacted BB to figure out a plan to replace the broken item. I should say that I plugged it in and it seemed to kick on instantly. Within a few hours, the thermometer I put in there was at 34* and that was probably with a misaligned door. Best Buy sent out a replacement and I got it 2 days later. Guess what...? This one was damaged in the same place! There were sharp metal pieces sticking up from the mitered edges of the door and anything more than a gentle touch felt like it would slice you open quickly. Again, being reasonable, I contacted BB and this time I was told they wouldn't replace it... one try only. So now I have 2 paperweights in my basement that look terrible. Very disappointed in how Best Buy handled this and as an Elite cardholder and a Total Tech Support member, I expected more. Shame... shame... shame... shame... shame...

    Buy the extended warranty!

    Loved this little cooler so much that we bought a 2nd one. Did not buy the extended warranty as it seems a simple item and inexpensive. After the manufacturers warranty expired by a few months...on of these has gone bad. Fluctuations in temp, make everything freeze and explode inside the fridge. Which shoots the door open and leaves a remarkable mess! As warranty had recently expired. I emptied it, turned it off for 48 hours and plugged it back in. Seemed to do the trick. Today (4 weeks later) I hear a large bang...and it'd happened again. Called manufacturer for help...got none.

    I was so excited to get this, until I opened the box and found that the fridge had been damaged. Horrible handling for it to have arrived like this. Disappointed.

    Not cold enough

    The lowest setting on the digital control is 33°. I put a thermostat in the fridge because the drinks just didn’t seem cold enough and the coldest I have seen it is 42°.

    We have had this product plugged up for 3-4 days on the lowest temp setting. It is not cooling at all. We will be returning.
