This cord was purchased to add a bit of length from my outlet to my media center surge protector. I chose this cable due to its heavy duty nature and future support if I decide to add a battery backup in that location. The only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 was due to its relative cost.

This is great to add distance to/from any plug-in. You can use; from wall to power strip (cheaper than buying a new/longer corded strip) or power strip to device or wall to device. Allows you have things where you want them. 3-prong plug-ins and a heavy cord should allow for any indoor use. I would not recommend for outside unless it is shielded from any moisture.

This extension cord does what it was made for, is grounded, and has stood up to some good wear and tear already. Good buy.

What can I say? It's an extension cord. Not a lot to speak of, but I can tell you this one feels solid and durable. I use it for studio lighting and it gets moved around a lot. The nice thing about it is it's weight. The cord is nice and heavy and stays put. I don't have to worry about it lifting up and becoming a trip hazard while work around my studio lights.
