Great quality and a great price on sale for $30. Not sure I would pay $50 but it pushes a lot of air, the angle is adjustable, it oscillates and looks good. Not much more you can ask from a fan...the true test will be to see how long it lasts, that's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

This fan looks great, and moves air very well. It is solidly built and seems just as nice if not better than the Vornado ones that cost more than twice as much! I did knock off a star because it is a lot louder than expected. On the lowest setting it isn’t too bad, but on 2 or 3 it’s much much louder than any fan I have had before. Still a great product, just make sure it’s not too loud if you are going to use it as a bedroom fan for sleeping.

So far I love this fan. We bought it because our upstairs is always hot no matter how low the AC is set on. We have one floor fan in our room that was almost twice as expensive as this one but is much weaker. With this fan you can feel it all the way across the bed. Its powerful and cool. I didn't give it higher rating because in my experience fans are better at first but tend to wear out so I want to see how this one lasts. I also like the retro look and the sort of pewter finish.

I purchased three of these fans at the right price. They circulate/move air more than adequately and I don't find them to be excessively noisy. This model definitely needs a redesign. Instead of all the controls, i.e., on/off, speed, and directional being located at the base, they are located behind the fan's head, which makes it hard to get to. I had a similar size fan and the controls were conveniently located and easily accessible at the base. Please note: the base is circular and huge! There is no remote. Other than the protective metal grates, the entire fan is silver plastic. For the money, I am satisfied because the noise level is tolerable and it does cool you down.

This is a powerful fan! It is sleek in its design, able to blend with any décor. It cools off a fairly large room easily. Downfall....it can be a bit loud but I often use it as "white noise" to help me sleep!

Really interesting vintage look is great in your house. It works well with 3 speed settings. My only negative comment is that I wish the lowest setting was a little gentler, a little quieter. Low is pretty strong for a smaller space, but I still like and enjoy using this great piece, which blends in nicely with my decor!

The fan distributes a nice flow of air. The speed setting is manual and at the highest the fan is slightly on the loud side. The fan does seem solidly built.

Good for this weather, it don't wast much energy, medium, that is exactly the size I need, and not noisy.

I bought this fan because I was looking for one that was NOT entirely made out of plastic and will hopefully last for years to come. So far so good! I love the vintage feel and the stainless steel finish on it. However, I would not recommend this fan for anyone looking for a quiet fan. Otherwise it is a great fan! I use this under my desk at work and never have it above the first setting and can still hear it but I don't mind.

This fan is great. Quiet yet powerful enough for even a larger room. You won't be disappointed.

Fan has three speeds; perfect for my office. Not too large,but nice airflow for a medium sized room.

Fan is made of metal which makes it heavier than the plastic fans we are used to. It seems very sturdy. Does the job and sits on top of a desk in a bedroom. The weight is the main difference between this and other plastic fans. So far is working fine. Is a bit noisier than the plastic fan of similar size, but could be because it is made of metal.

Love this old style fan, very powerful and silence

If you're a fan of the modern clean look, this fan looks awesome. It moves a lot of air. It's too loud for my office, so I put it on the floor. I wish it had a tilting head. It does the job well on the slowest setting though.

Great fan. Has the classic retro look and is very powerful. I usually only have it on low and it still moves a lot of air. Would be 5 stars, but it is pretty noisy due to the blade set up. Great fan though.

Works well and the dark brushed copper retro-look fan matched our decor perfectly. Pros: looks great, moves air well, sturdy. Cons: control knobs difficult to grip (and had sharp edge), very limited tilt adjustment.
