I was looking for a cheap rear exhaust fan since my case only came with one front intake fan. This did the trick. It is silent and the screws were very easy to thread unlike some fans I have used in the past. I wanted a fan without LED's as well and this is as basic as it gets. Comes with a nice rubberized covering over the cable wire which I was not expecting from an Insignia product. Seems to be quality all the way around and I would buy again. Don't think you can go wrong with this one.

The fan was easy to install with a long cable so that it could be hidden in the back of the case for a clean look.

I like this product, but after I got started on the product for which it was intended, I realized that I made a mistake in the purchase and this was not the fan I was looking for, not like an old man waving his hand in front of me and telling me that it was not the fan I was looking for...but more along the lines of me misreading the broken fan I removed from my project.

I just purchased this fan for an inlet configuration. After install, I pulled up my Intel Utility Program, and it indicates that this fan is running at 500 RPM, while the outlet fan is running at 1069 RPM.
According to the specs on the back of the package, it verifies that It should be running at 650 RPM. No wonder this fan is so quiet.
Plan on making an exchange.
