Nice smaller size. Attractive inside and out. Quiet - does not run much and then just a low hum - no frost build up. Consistent interior temperature measured by separate thermometer is between -7º and +5º. However, the highly touted wifi app does not work with my iPhone7. Two people in addition to me have tried to hook up the freezer to the app with no positive results. O/W I would rate it five stars.

We purchased this freezer and love it! It is not too large, just the perfect size with lots of shelving to organize! I think the option of using it as a fridge is pretty useful feature

Nice and quiet, well placed shelves. Easy to use temperature controls. Just the right size for the garage.

We purchased this freezer because we didn’t have enough space in our bottom freezer refrigerator so we decided to go with an upright freezer and it was the best decision we made. This is a great freezer, it has lots of room, even the door has enough space to store food and it freezes well, but the door has really hard suction. I guess that’s ok because the freezer is great. Can’t go wrong with this one.

I have this freezer for a month today. Works great. Does its job. Connected to wifi with no problem. Through Insignia application can monitor the temperature and change the degrees. However, the App gives notification that it will no longer be available on November. I don't know what will be then. I use it as a freezer. Like the shelves on door. In general, I'm satisfied with this buy.

Great second fridge for garage. Original unit came damaged on three sides but Best Buy was quick to reorder and replacement will be delivered within a few days. Even damaged, the unit works great at maintaining temperature even on these days over 90 degrees. Add in the fact that this unit can function as either a fridge or a freezer to take advantage of sales and it is one great package!. Highly Recommended!

We've had this for 3 years now and keep it in the garage. It has served its purpose; however, on occasion, I will come out to the garage and find the door has popped open. On one occasion, I retrieved an item, closed the door tightly, and a few seconds later it popped open while I was standing there. It has an alarm which is helpful if you're in the garage at the time it goes off. I never hooked it up to wifi; I discovered the Insignia Connect app was discontinued in 2019. On 8/9/2021, I woke up and discovered the door popped open again. I had not retrieved anything out of the freezer the day before so unfortunately I lost about $400 worth of food. What could be salvaged, I kept in the freezer but it seems to be struggling to get back to a frozen state (8/11/21). I may need to buy another freezer since the warranty has expired. I'll wait another day to see if the rest of the food stays frozen.

This freezer works well. Meets family needs with large shelves. Very quiet.

Frost free is such a bonus on this unit and it is so quiet! I have not used the wifi option yet but not a reason I purchased this model. Temperature is good just make sure you can use it where you want to put as the door is not reversible.

I bought a new freezer to replace my old one which only lasted 9 years, what a shame it was expensive. I chose to buy a bit smaller but still wanted the light on the door to show me that it was working properly without opening the door this way any one walking by it would be alerted if there was a problem. So far it has been a good choice and right size for me.

Folks I hunt 2-5x per year and I needed an upright freezer to hold my meats. I searched, read every review I could about various freezers. This one has surpassed all my expectations. In fact my neighbor bought one in my recommendation!

I initially loved this freezer. The app for the wi fi worked great and was easy to connect. About 3 months after the purchase the wifi/app quit working. When I contacted Insignia customer service via email they told me that they did an update and as a result many users could no longer use the App until they found a fix. They said their product engineers were working on it. I waited a couple weeks and their response was “it could be quite some before it’s fixed.” How can they continue to sell this freezer knowing the the wife/App do not work? This is fraudulent. I purchased the freezer for this feature and am so frustrated. I spent hours trying to reconnect the wifi app before I contacted them. If they knew they had problems after their update, why didn’t they contact customers to let them know what happened. If it wasn’t for this issue I would have given a 5 start rating. I love the number of shelves, the shelves on the side have a lot of space. But, you can not sell a product knowing that the wifi app does not work for everyone. I have an iphone.

Freezer was just the right size for my in laws. Fit into tight area looks me a glove. Indicators and adjustments on front door made it easy to see what settings were selected then they could be locked into memory.

Been happy so far. We’ve looked around for a freezer online and in stores and this is the best one we saw especially for the money. No issues so far and we like the way it looks as well. Quiet and easy to use.

I have had the freezer for 1 month. Holds temp @ zero very well. Plenty of room for frozen goods. Only negative is there is frost sometimes inside freezer on the packaged foods. I do not know why.

Looking for freezer that stays in the garage which can get hot. The freezer has the features displayed on the outside so you don't have to open the freezer to check. Has plenty of room in the inside so was perfect for my family.

I purchased this to use as a freezer but when I saw it could be either fridge or freeze I purchased 2. these are in our garage and very quiet. love having a freezer but also love the second fridge. plenty of freezer space for two people in the house

I bought this freezer/refrigerator when one of your side by side refrigerators went bad. This one we kept in garage using it as a freezer. It is working well, displays temperature, and keeping stuff frozen.

We bought this freezer since it was one of very few that would fit in a space we needed a freezer to go. All is working well except the WiFi. The Geek Squad came out to look at the WiFi situation and even they were unable to get the WiFi working. The problem came down to not hooking up with the house router, which is a mere 8-10 feet away from the freezer. Best Buy was kind enough to rebate $50 back to us for the issue. We like the freezer and it does keep our food frozen and the panel on the front door is a good touch so we can see the status of the freezer.

We were looking for a medium fridge for our over flow from our regular fridge and this one was the perfect size to fit in our basement closet. No issues so far and we've had it for about a month. Love that it can convert to a freezer!
