Great freezer with accurate description I would purchase it again

I bought this to use as a freezer and it suits my needs perfectly. It looks and works great. Nice to know I could use it as a fridge if I want to. Didn't know that was possible. Very happy with this product.

Replaced our chest freezer with this standup. Great upgrade. Can store more without having to dig it out from the bottom. Have had it for 3 weeks and we have packed it to the brim with food and so far so good its exceeding my expectations. Very satisifed and delivery was simple to set up online.

Good for the garage. Nice space and can change to freezer if needed.

I love the fridge/freezer and the versatility it provides. I use it for cakes & I'd give it 5 stars if I could get it to be a little less humid inside. I also wish the height of the shelves were more options with how the height of the shelves can be adjusted since I have to fit cake boxes & tall cakes inside. Still a great purchase though. Highly recommend.

My freezer is compact enough to keep in my pantry but plenty large enough for storage and seeing what I have on each shelf.

So far working great. I just wish it has a door lock for child protection. Although the door is hard enough to open that small children should not be able to open.

Plenty of space and nice organization. I really like the digital thermometer on the front. Caught it on sale was a great price for a third of a cow and then some.

The size is perfect for extra freezer space. I love that it stores food vertically where i can easily see it, and that it is self defrosting.

Love this refrigerator/freezer. If we need a freezer we have one, if we need a refrigerator we can change it to a refrigerator.

I like the sleek design of the Insignia. It runs quietly and has plenty of usable storage space. When the door closes it locks automatically, a nice safety feature.

So far it's working great it looks nice it's very roomy it's one of the best purchases I've ever made I'm so glad I bought it

I tried two of these units within two week in order to receive a unit that was 'working' as desired. This unit is made by Midea. I have the same unit (Midea branded) and use it as a freezer - No issues with the freezer setting. The instructions specifically state the Freezer will swing 10 (F) degrees when in use as a freezer. However there is no information on how this will swing when used in the refrigerator setting. In the refrigerator setting at 35 F the first unit did not seem cold after one day of running - I placed a temperature logger in the unit, and behold, the unit was only functioning between 41/38, and was allowing long periods where the temperature would creep up. This unit was sent back. Setting the unit to 35 should yield a min temperature of 35. (See Graph from unit number 1 - this was taken overnight, door not opened, and unit on for over 40 hours with medium load) Second unit, set to the same setting of 35. This unit was doing better, however, it was unable to reach the desired setting of 35. See second graph. This unit appeared to do a god job of cycling, and maintaining a better temperature spread, and a slightly lower average temperature. However, with a desired setting of 35, this unit was still not cutting it. See graph for unit number 2. (all conditions the same as number 1- just 14 hours of data.) After speaking to the geek squad, I have found out that this is the intended way the unit is to function. This is unacceptable to me, especially for food that should be kept below 40F. In a pinch I could see how the conversion over to a fridge would work, but for a long term solution, this unit should be avoided if you want to use it as a fridge.

Freezer arrived in perfect condition really good looking unit and was at 0 degrees in no time

Bought this freezer for inside for extra space, since my fridge freezer is tiny. It’s works wonderfully, it isn’t bulky, and fits tons of food. I’m happy with my purchase!

Best convertible fridge/freezer. Keeps our drinks ice cold and prevents our snacks from melting! Looks great, plenty of space, and very easy to use!

Great for the beverages in the basement. I have the same exact model as a freezer in the garage
