The fridge function does not get cold enough to keep food from spoiling. It's set as cold as the fridge will go (35F) but its actual temp is well above 40F which is out of the food-safe range. I have it inside in a temp controlled space with plenty of ventilation. I plugged it in for 48 hours and it never got below 40F.

The freezer got to freezing in a hot garage here in Texas in just a couple hours. So far it looks awesome and does its job freezing even with very little in there. Getting a little over a 1/4 calf to store in there soon, hopefully plenty of room. Will have to see and come back if longevity is an issue. Delivery team also did a great job, swift, careful, and knowledgeable. Side note this freezer is quieter than my fridge in the house so not sure where the complaints of it being loud are coming from. If it’s loud, there’s likely a problem.

I Purchase a insignia freezer/ Refrigerator and was disappointed in it. The next few days there was frost and ice buildup all over. Now it’s getting worse by the day with more ice buildup on the frozen food and ice tray. I am returning it and hopefully will get one that works the way it should.... Frost free!!

Delivered with broken shelf (plastic arount shelf broken, plastic is part of structure that holds shelf on sides of freezer. did not notice until after delivery men left. Chatted with Best Buy, and all they could offer was a discount, or a return. Called insignia, shelf is not an item that they sell.

The fridge was not getting cold and our food Rotted and we did not get reimbursed for the Rotten food….

We unboxed the freezer to install and found that it was damaged.

The two men that set up the fridge had missing pieces and they took pictures of it and they told me that Best Buy would come back out and fix it but that is a lie. SHOP ELSEWHERE.

Plenty of room and extremely quiet. We keep this in the family room filled with drinks and healthy snacks. Keeps everything cold. I didn't need a freezer and I'm glad to have more room for other things instead. Plus no worries that things in the back will freeze. Only issue: when I loaded the door withbottles, it kept popping open. I couldn't find an easy stand to help level on the carpet, which might have helped. Still, great unit. We had to drive a ways to find one in stock but was worth it.

It's quiet. It has very easy to use temperature controls. It is very roomy. I love it! The only con I have for it is that I have a stone floor where the freezer is, and because of how strong the magnetic seal on the door is when I open it the freezer slides a little bit. That might be because it's not full yet, and not a deal breaker for me.

I wasn’t sure about the quality of the Insignia brand, but reviews were very positive. After having it for a month now, I understand why!! This has been perfect since day 1. Absolutely no issues. Best Buy delivered it and placed it right where I wanted it in the garage. They plugged it in and it has just worked since. The freezer got to 0° very quickly and has maintained that temp. I can set that up or down if I choose but everything is solid at zero. A cool attribute of this freezer is that you can change it to a refrigerator if you need that instead. For me, this is a great smaller size unit yet still big enough to pack in a bunch of Costco ice cream, steaks, pizzas, etc. I love it and would highly recommend it!

This is a SWITCH refrigerator/freezer. It is wonderful I started it as a refrigerator. Got all my freezer stuff set up and made and then set it up for freezing. It has been wonderful. It keeps a consistent temperature for the freezer at a temperature I want and it it has had no issues in the heat of garage and now we’re getting into the winter. I would recommend this to anyone. The price was wonderful and it also has an alarm it can’t get better than this.

Nice size. Holds more than you think it would. Love that it can be a refrigerator OR a freezer. Great color and easy to keep clean stainless door. Salesman was very helpful. Convenient delivery and easy set up.

Easy install and setup. Use as freezer or refrigerator. If I had to replace would purchase freezer and 2nd refrigerator separately. Compact and works well in garage.

It is a very nice freezer. Plenty of space within and very quiet. It easily fits in my garage. It stays very cold and I love that it will convert to a fridge. The only thing I wish it had was maybe a bumper or lip on the shelves to keep everything in. I got a load of frozen beef and had a little trouble keeping everyting on the shelves when I was first organizing it. The door pockets are also very nice to keep things like freezer packs. I would buy again.
