I’ve been searching for an Upright Freezer for months. I’m not sure why many of the major brands are unavailable at the moment. It really doesn’t matter anymore because my Insignia Upright Freezer operates like any of the major brands around - maybe even better. I purchased the Stainless Convertible Freezer/ Refrigerator. It has more than enough room, is frost free, digital temperature reading and setting can easily be changed to freezer mode or refrigerator mode by the push of a button. I found it very easy to set up and the price was just right. Although, if the white freezer would have been available, I would have purchased that one instead, it was $100.00 lower than this one. I think Insignia is overall a quality brand because I own (4) Insignia TV’s and never had issues.

Delivery was super easy. They sent a link to see when the delivery would actually arrive. Not just the four hour window. The freezer is great. Very quiet. Plenty of space. Would buy again from Best Buy.

Excellent freezer/fridge combo. We use this on the refrigerator mode and it’s perfect. Love that it shows the temperature on the outside. Keeps our drinks and food very cold. Great size too!

This was such a great purchase. It offers a lot of space inside and has a sleek design. I love the fact that it can convert from a refrigerator to a freezer with the push of a button. It also has a quick cool setting that cooled it down to user ready in a very short amount of time. I would highly recommend this product.

I gave it 5 stars but we haven't had the freezer/refrigerator very long. I hope to continue with my 5 star rating as so far we are very pleased with the unit. Before purchasing it we were kind of skeptical with getting what is called a "convertible upright freezer/refrigerator". We had never heard of one before but decided to go ahead with the purchase. Another nice feature is that it has an Energy Star Certification. And the unit came in a few days ahead of the original scheduled date! Which was a great plus since our old freezer had gone kaput!! But luckily we had a place to store all the frozen foods until this unit arrived.

Great product! I have it in my garage and have used it both as a refrigerator and a freezer. No complaints!

When I say this thing gets cold, it doesn't do it justice. Having this guy has really helped my meat purchasing decisions Plenty of space for everything, and it doesn't make a lot of noise. Highly recommend, especially for the price.

Love the freezer. It is the right size. Love the fact that it has an alarm on it, you can see the temperature & you can use it as a refrigerator & freezer.

Great convertible fridge/freezer, site in our garage has an overflow fridge, giving the main one in the kitchen more space and making it easier to find things. Convertible, the issue is, once you have Fridge or Freezer food in there, how do you convert? You either have to empty or eat everything. Got this on sale, my only regret is that I did not buy two, could have kept one as a fridge or as a freezer.

Never usually one to write reviews, but this upright freezer is great. Needed another freezer in addition to our chest freezer for extra milk storage after having a baby. The price and size are perfect. The great part is once the milk is no longer needed I can convert this into a garage fridge. Very happy with the purchase so far. The Best Buy delivery was great also.

It's perfect. Right size, right price. Runs quiet. What's not to like?

we bought 2 of these. One for a freezer and one for a fridge. Perfect size for us and bright light inside. temp on outside is nice. we have no complaints on our purchase. Best buy was excellent on the delivery side of things. They got to my house later then I hoped but I work nights so I was waiting to go to bed a lil later then my normal. But the delivery guy was aware of this and wasted no time with the delivery and was a pleasure to do business with. I will definitely be buying more appliances from here in the future! Also not that we are afraid of the whole covid situation, but for those wondering they did take steps to insure minimal exposure, masks, minimal handling, etc.

The set-up was flawless and this upright freezer is better than expected. I purchased online without any problems and delivery was impeccable. It sits beautifully in my garage and the storage space and lighting is simply amazing. I have recommended this item to my friends and neighbors. One will not be disappointed!

Great compact freezer. Freezes items quickly and door creates good suction so it maintains temperature. Cool that it can function as freezer or fridge as well.

Bought two of these as a standing fridge and freezer. So far I am loving these, as they have been very helpful as an extra place to keep food in the garage. But I would say the internal temperatures keeps varying, as I have an thermometer in both of them. Since the unit has an anti-frost, I believe it turns on the quick defrost mode and the temp falls tremendously at times. It does not stay at an accurate 37 degrees and 0 degrees consistently. But regardless, it gets the job done and would recommend.

This is a SWITCH refrigerator/freezer. It is wonderful I started it as a refrigerator. Got all my freezer stuff set up and made and then set it up for freezing. It has been wonderful. It keeps a consistent temperature for the freezer at a temperature I want and it it has had no issues in the heat of garage and now we’re getting into the winter. I would recommend this to anyone. The price was wonderful and it also has an alarm it can’t get better than this.

Went from a chest to upright, love being able to see what is in the freezer. Basic look and check to make sure it will fit in your space. Door shuts tight.

The convertible upright freezer with energy star rating was delivered and set up without any issues. Product was as ordered and in excellent condition upon arrival. Delivery men did a nice job of instruction as to what temperature they were setting freezer and how long it needed to be at that temp, Instructed how to increase/ decrease as needed.

This Insignia - 13.8 Cu. Ft. Upright Convertible Freezer/Refrigerator - Stainless Steel unit is everything W we wanted and needed. We unpacked it, set it up and for the first two weeks used it as a refrigerator. it worked flawlessly. Then we switched over to freezer mode which is how it will be used. Again, it is working well. It looks good, it's very quiet and to top it all off the price was great plus it's an Energy Star Product. While it is not a "Name" brand product, we have every in confidence Best Buy backing their House Brand products!
