This is large on the inside but fits well in our garage (not overly big footprint). So far, it is really a good purchase!

Working great in the garage

To help, I added a few inexpensive muffin fans at the bottom (one blowing in one side and the other facing out on the other side) and put them on a timer so they run during the hot part of the day. With the temp in the garage at 95, the freezer maintained a temp of minus 10. A great size for us and will be a great investment in the end, particularly in these times.

Convertible, the issue is, once you have Fridge or Freezer food in there, how do you convert? You either have to empty or eat everything. Got this on sale, my only regret is that I did not buy two, could have kept one as a fridge or as a freezer.

Much more capacity than than a chest freezer with the same footprint. Much easier to organize. Can be set to be a freezer OR refrigerator. So good, we bought another to use as a spare refrigerator. Garage ready, great seals, extra insulation.

13.8 Cu Ft Upright freezer

I think it operated as one big vegetable controlled humidity drawer. Then I switched it to freezing because the cost of food went up and I could preserve with freezing, buying in bulk. It’s a dream for people who freeze homemade broths, precooked vegetables and such. There’s so much room that I didn’t even organize last time I had a huge meat delivery but I can still find what I need in my unorganized life.
