This is a great Freezer/Fridge. The best part is how it’s interchangeable as needed. I purchased it solely for extra freezer space. It’s truly used on my Bj hauling days. You can pack it with virtually anything that needs to be frozen. And you control the temp based on your needs. Most importantly it’s Energy efficient! WIN WIN.

Love my new upright freezer for garage. I bought containers to separate the various things in it (meats, veggies, frozen meals, etc.), so they stay put. I planned on getting the 17 cu ft. While there is just the two of us, I kinda wish I'd gone with bigger size. Right now I have a ton of bags of vegetables because they got buried in chest freezer and I couldn't see what I had. It's going to take quite awhile to go thru them. Right now this freezer is full!!!

I am so happy with this upright freezer. It will be much more convenient than the chest freezer that I have had, since my food inventory will be much more visible and easier to keep track of and I won't have to stand on my head anymore to get something out of the bottom of the freezer. The real bonus is that this freezer can convert to a refrigerator for seasonal refrigerator overflow! I will keep my old chest freezer for a backup for this reason. It is self defrosting, so no more hooking a hose to it to drain the water out of the bottom. It is an Energy Star appliance which means I can get a rebate from my utility company. All of this plus the great price made this purchase a win win purchase!

Great freezer. Quiet and affordable. The temp readout on the front door allows me to see the temperature internally. The optional feature of turning it into a refrigerator is an added bonus.

Excellent upright freezer. We bought a whole hog and needed a larger freezer for storage and this had more than enough space. Looks great and works very nicely. I do wish there were baskets instead of the glass shelves. But being a fridge as well the shelves make sense. Would buy again and recommend.

Great freezer. Needed some extra freezer space, this fits the bill perfectly. Not too big, not too small. Runs quiet, cannot hear it. Like that this can be either a freezer or refrigerator, working perfectly so far. Only negative is that the display on door does not show the actual inside temperature, only the setpoint.

This freezer is awesome! Funny enough, I didn't realize that it could convert from a refrigerator to a freezer! So that was neat to find out. I've had zero issues with it and delivery was fantastic. Would definitely recommend buying this freezer.

I’m really happy with my new Insignia™ 13.8 cu ft Garage Ready Convertible Freezer. It’s been awesome so far. It cools super fast, keeps everything frozen solid, and handles the temperature changes in my garage without any issues. The stainless steel looks great, and the freezer feels sturdy and well-built. There’s tons of space inside, and the shelves make it easy to keep things organized instead of piling everything on top of each other like my old freezer. One of my favorite things is that it’s ENERGY STAR certified — I’ve definitely noticed it’s not using a ton of electricity. And the fact that I can switch it from freezer to fridge if I ever need to is a huge bonus. It also runs really quietly, which I appreciate since it’s not far from the door to my house. Overall, this freezer has been perfect for extra storage. Super happy with the purchase!

Needed a new upright freezer but didn't want a large one. This one fit the bill perfectly. Enough room for what we need to put in it and doesn't take up a ton of room in the garage either. Seems to be working really well so far and the freezer/fridge option is a plus!

I love this freezer....it's working great! It's quiet, and I love the extra features of being able to set the exact temperature and switch to refrigerator if you so choose. Upright models are much better...I can see everything easily, especially with the bright light and the shelves keep items organized...so, less open-door time.

I am pleased with my 13.8 cubit feet Insignia convertible Freezer/Refrigerator. It is currently being used as a refrigerator the kitchen of my apartment and it works really really well. We love the sound it makes when you open the door(a cute ring) and it holds a good amount of food. It was an excellent purchase for me.

I am reviewing Insignia™ - 13.8 Cu. Ft. Garage Ready Convertible Upright Freezer with ENERGY STAR Certification - White. I am giving a 4-star review although the freezer stopped working right before its 1-year warranty ran out. BB has scheduled to pick it up and offered me a replacement or money back. I am going to get another Insignia that is a bit larger capacity and will also purchase an extended service package. While the freezer worked it was pretty perfect. Temp was right on 0 degrees, light on outside of the door told us the electricity was on, lots of storage with heavy duty shelving and nice on-door racks. Odds are the next one will last longer.

This freezer turned out to be far roomier than i imagined and i like the 'open door' alarm. Holds the temp. Easy to set. I like the drawer in the bottom. I can keep bread separate without crushing. My favorite part is its an upright. We have a chest freezer and its a pain finding what you want.

Gorgeous. Works really great. Love the digital display , really cool feature. AND you have the option of refrigerator or freezer. And it's not small at all. Very happy with our purchase.
