Using it in freezer mode with no issues so far, it's fairly quiet even with the compressor running and freezes items quickly. The freezer is gonna slide when opening the door with nothing inside due to the heavy suction in freezer mode. Adjusting the legs won't do anything, you need to add weight/food and the sliding will stop.

Excellent Upright Freezer, Worth the Investment

It gets very cold, the auto-defrost feature is a huge improvement over my old chest freezer, and the door gaskets create a nice tight seal. Seems well built and perfect for the garage.

It stores all overflow from our refrigerator plus more. It doesn't take too much space in the garage but offers plenty of storage for all our meats and frozen foods. Overall the family is very satisfied with this product.

The only down side is that Best Buy doesn't include hard copy of owners manual, you have to go online for digital copy. Also, door display shows temp set too not actual internal temp. Other than those issues I love my freezer!

Runs quiet and I love that i control the temperature! No complaints however summer temps will tell as it will be in the garage.

Time will tell, but so far I have no complaint. It is perfect! Before buying it, I researched reviews on big name brand products and their quality has declined over the years. This Insignia was the size I needed, the color I wanted, it's ENERGY STAR certified, and was less expensive than other brands. Other items I have purchased from Best Buy were great! So, I don't expect this to be any different.
