This is an excellent freezer. I love that you can go back and forth. I have only used the freezer side so far but it is spacious and easy to get to everything. Love it!

This refrigerator/freezer combo has met all of our expectations. It’s been running in our hot garage without any issues for 6 months, and hopefully years to come. We love the locking feature, the fact that it converts, and the display on the front. There is room to fit a ton inside as well.

We use this as a refrigerator, in combination with a chest freezer, in our 50's era kitchen (which is too small for today's mega-fridges). We replaced a slightly larger, fancier Whirlpool refrigerator-only which had broken down and was non-repairable at 4 years. While we miss the larger shelves on the Whirlpool's doors, this one is absolutely adequate - it forces us to think about what we currently have refrigerated and to consolidate more. We prefer some of the features of this unit, for example the temperature display and the warning beeps if we accidentally left the door ajar.

I bought two of these in January 2025. They are side by side and I use one as a fridge and one as a freezer. It’s way better as a freezer because everything is so organized and accessible now compared to the cramped bottom freezer I had before. As a fridge it’s good but has limited organizational flexibility. I’m exploring clear plastic bins. I wish I could switch the handle to the other side so they could open towards each other. I also wish they were designed so they don’t need so much space around them for heat dissipation since they are in my kitchen and not a garage. All in all, I’m happy with them and I love the new setup.

Great value for your money. The items stored in the freezer is always accessible, and fresh. The freezer is auto-lock.

I am more than pleased with my purchase of the Insignia Freezer/Refrigerator. I have been looking for 6 months and the excellent reviews and price was my deciding factor. I bought 2 units to replace an old side by side. Now I can but in bulk when items are on sale. I have no doubt that they will pay for themselves in time but also energy savings as well. One is being used as a freezer the other as a fridge.

This freezer is exactly what I was looking for and needed. It is my additional second freezer in my basement. Perfect size for my items and freezes my food at the appropriate temperature. I really like the glass shelves. The only thing I’m experiencing is the door is hard to open. It takes a couple of hard pulls before opening. I think this will get easier as time goes on. Overall, a great extra freezer at a great price. Delivery was fast, on time and professional.

This machine as a freezer is absolutely perfect for my needs and I love that it can be a refrigerator as well. As a matter of fact, I purchased two machines and I do use one as a refrigerator, though I have to turn it down significantly to get it to work for refrigeration- otherwise, it runs too warm

Love that it is upright like a refrig. You can grab things out without much effort. So far, it is working great. Love also that you can convert to a refrigerator if needed to use as that.

We needed a freezer in a hurry and Best Buy had this one on stock. It works hreat and stays extra cold!

This fits perfectly in the garage corner. I'm using it as a freezer (having a refrigerator option is helpful if I need it). I particularly like the extra shelves on the inside of the door, provides much additional storage. Controls on the front of the door is also helpful, easy to see. Very pleased with this freezer/fridge.

This freezer works great! Ive had it for a while now and have zero issues. Plenty of room inside.

Does everything a freezer should do. Alot of room for it's size. Was damaged during delivery and took an extra week to receive. Definitely worth what i paid during the sale.

So far so good. Have to have time to run it for awhile before we can evaluate it further.

I love it! It's perfect for extra storage space! Everyone could use that, especially during the holidays. I had the delivery people put it in the basement. I like the versatility of being able to convert it to a refrigerator if needed.

I have been using this fridge/freezer for months now. I did not have any issues with it. I keep a digital thermometer in it and when the temperature is set to 37F(fridge mode) the readings show a sine wave between 37F-47F. When I set to freezer mode it keeps 0F to -10F. I am generally happy with the purchase for this price.

Bought this freezer to replace an aging freezer (17 years old) that was having trouble staying cold and running continuously. This one seems to be working just fine. Really like that you can set the actual temp right on the front of the door instead of having to adjust some dial inside that just uses some arbitrary numbers to represent warmest to coldest. And it appears to maintain the temp that you set based upon the thermometer we keep in the freezer to verify the freezer temp. We set it at -10 degrees and it stays at that temp. Also like that is has a light inside unlike our previous freezer. The bin on the bottom is also great for frozen foods like vegetables that come in plastic bags and don't stack well on the shelves. Would have preferred a lower price, but freezers seem to be in high demand and short supply right now, so we felt lucky that this on was even in stock.
