I am very happy with my purchase. The freezer was delivered in good condition and the quality of construction is good. The interior is brightly lit and with the glass shelves, everything is easy to find. About a month before this purchase I bought an upright freezer from a well known American brand to allow my wife to stock up on frozen food. Once I had the additional freezer space it became clear we could use more refrigerator space too. At this point I did not want to buy a regular refrigerator because that would come with more freezer space that I did not need. I searched for refrigerator only units and there were very few and they were expensive. I then came across this convertible freezer/refrigerator that was exactly what I needed. I use it as a refrigerator but it is good to know that I could switch to using it as a freezer if needed. It only draws about 2 amps so I could plug it into the new 20 amp outlet that I put in the basement for the other freezer I bought (also draws 2 amps). It runs very quietly and cooled down quickly after being plugged in.

Capacity is perfect for a second fridge. Thimbs up!!

I'm very happy with my purchase. Excellent price, easy fast delivery (just a couple of days). This freezer runs quiet and efficient. I love that it's frost free and perfect size for my family. I would definitely recommend it.

Fantastic unit. I use it as a freezer. Works well & have not had an issue with it at all. Good amount of space & doesn’t make too much noise.

We have already packed this freezer with a 1/8 of a cow and have plenty of room. I love the fact that it can switch from a fridge to a freezer and the auto defrost feature. The gentlemen who delivered it were very helpful. All of the other auto defrost freezers we looked at were $700 and higher.

BOUGHT 2 OF THESE UPRIGHTS. Had to exchange the one we were using as a freezer since it was not freezing at 0 and -1 degrees. Once exchanged love them both. Exchange process was easy and was not given a hard time about it. The customer service was great. Probably should have gotten the bigger sizes but still hold a decent amount at this size. Using them in the garage.

Love my new Frdge. Keeps our food at the right temperature. Plenty of room. Large drawer. I can convert this into a Freezer. Great for the price.The outside of the door shows the temperature when you open it. It is easy to turn it into a Freezer with a push of a button.

Love it. Big enough to handle my needs. Slimmer than my old chest freezer.

Bought this as a garage fridge. It’s not easy finding something that has all the room inside dedicated to storage. Haven’t used this as a freezer but it’s very easy to switch the mode and adjust the temperature. My only dislike is that it does run a little warm to the touch on the outside and a separate freezer in the same garage does not but no issues other than that.

The freezer is nice. There is lots of room. I would have liked to have more drawers and things but I have been able to put bins in there to hold my items. I’m very glad I purchased it.I have owned it for a little over a month and it has been working really well.

I absolutely love this freezer! I thought I wanted a bigger one but this has so much room inside while having such a small footprint. The seal on the door is so tight that you have to give it a tug to open and when you’re done the door seals tight once again, you can actually hear it. It is everything I wanted in a freezer!

This is a good freezer, the temp stays at 0.0 degrees F., it self defrosts nicely and holds much more than the small freezer chest we had previously. The one problem is opening the door. We have to hold the freezer body while yanking the handle to break the seal and open the door. This usually caused the whole freezer to roll forward, and then we have to reposition it just about every time. Seems like more thought could have been put into this door design.

Did not have high expectations but just needed an upright. I am AMAZED how efficient this freezer is. Super quiet! Uber cold, too! Cabinet condenser-no fans for heat dissipation. I expect to last MANY YEARS.

This full convert freezer/refrigerator is sleek with the stainless steel front door panel and the spacious upright drawers. The front LCD panel to adjust the temperature keeps it's nice and easy to choose your settings.

We are using this item as a freezer as we like to buy in bulk. The freezer works perfectly and have had no problem with functionality -- it works just as described and expected. The reason I have given this product 4-stars is because it came with 2 broken shelves that my partner had to fix which, thank goodness he was able to but certainly should not have been necessary for a brand-new product that we had to wait a month for delivery on. NOTE -- The broken shelves had nothing to do with delivery as the young men that delivered it took it out of the box and took the plastic wrap off of it in front of us in our driveway therefore one can reasonably assume the damage was sustained at some point before it was given to the delivery people. I would recommend that anyone that purchases this product checks for any damage as soon as it is off the truck or at very least, before the delivery people leave because I discovered that it is much more of a hassle than it is worth to try to return the item, seeing as it weighs 80+lbs, once the delivery folks are gone.

I’m this is the perfect size. Large enough for tons of stuff but not overly huge in my laundry room. I love that I can swap between fridge or freezer and the flash freeze option is fantastic when I do a large bulk haul and need to make it cold quick! This is our 2nd insignia freezer and wouldn’t go with another brand!

Purchased and installed same day. No issues. Should note that the LED screen only powers on when the door is open or the temp is changed.

We were looking for the right upright freezer. Chest type freezers are fine, but too much bending required, and then having to stack foods on top of each other. This size of 13cf was perfect for our need. Plus, this is a convertible model that can be used as a freezer or refrigerator. Happy customer here!
