We asked for a discount to accommodate for the dents and did not receive. Best Buy did offer to replace the freezer, but that was too complicated for us and had to be more costly for Best Buy than giving is a discount.

The shelves in the door are very helpful for easy to grab items like freeze pops and low enough for the kids to grab them. It beeps when you open it and let's you know it's not closed.

I have been looking for 6 months and the excellent reviews and price was my deciding factor. I bought 2 units to replace an old side by side. Now I can but in bulk when items are on sale. I have no doubt that they will pay for themselves in time but also energy savings as well. One is being used as a freezer the other as a fridge.

Only a couple of design issues (listed towards the end). I've been using the freezer for more than a month and a half and monitoring it during that time. No performance issues at all. Runs between 0 and -4 degrees when set at "00". Plenty of room inside and in the door. So Happy that I will not have to manually defrost the freezer anymore. It would be nice if they incorporated a temperature sensor so that at a glance you could see the internal temperature so that if there is an issue you will know it before it's too late. This is true for all cooling equipment but unfortunately very few have this feature. The display on the door is only for the temperature you set it at and it will disappear after a couple minutes. If you decide to use this unit as a refrigerator (simple to switch) and the power goes out, when the power comes back on it defaults back to a freezer and you will need to manually switch it back to refrigerator or end up with frozen food! If they would update the unit to fix these two issues, it would be a 5+ rating.
