Others have mentioned the door not closing all the way. I had the same problem. I found this is due to the rubber seal binding against the frame on the hinge side of the door. Putting a very thin coat of petroleum jelly on the mating surface of the gasket solved the issue. Also, make sure you level the unit. The door and frame will not align perfectly or close properly if the unit is out of level.

Just what we need

Best Buy had this one in stock so we ordered it because we desperate and I must say we’ve been pleasantly surprised. It works great and froze fairly quickly after we set it up. There was no option for install when I purchased it so I assumed it was included, it was not. However the item was fairly simple to set up. Great space, a light and self defrosting-we love it! We move across country soon so I’m hoping it survives the move. Will update review as needed.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice freezer, it works as of now- we've had it since this morning- but had to spend over an hour to drive for pick up. Got home and unboxed to find that it is dented in several spots, one which is more of a "fold" than a dent. Needed it desperately before monday so couldn't do much about it today, however I did spend the extra money on protection/warranty so I called and my options are $50 reimbursement or drive all the way back and exchange which now means that what I needed the freezer for will need to be unloaded and sit for at least 3 hours while we get the replacement and get it cooled. I took pictures but customer service wasn't interested in seeing them. My ideal resolution would have been that customer service would have the replacement delivered.
