We haven't had it very long, about a month maybe. I gave it a 4th star because it can convert to a refrigerator if needed & I think that is just cool as hell. Now let's see how long it lasts. Hopefully it will last as long as the one it's replacing, which is a chest freezer I bought in 1998.

Since I got this stand up freezer, it cooled super fast, maintains temp perfectly, perfect size for us, zero frost, and most importantly, super easy to organize and see everything you have at a glance! Absolutely a must if you’re looking for a freezer!

This freezer is perfect size for my house. I haven't used it as a fridge yet, but it's super easy to change to fridge, just push a button. This will come in handy if having a party and need overflow for drinks.

Everything on all shelves and drawers stay frozen. Ours is in our garage. We live in Texas the heat index this week has been 112-115 degrees. The freezer has held up and everything has remained frozen solid. The air tight seal keeps the cold in and the heat out. This freezer converts to a refrigerator as well although I already have a fridge in the garage I have not used this function yet. The shelves are adjustable which makes it nice for preparing more space on a specific shelf if needed. I highly recommend this freezer.

It keeps everything frozen solid and because it is an upright, I can find things...no more mystery meat after years in the freezer. I can highly recommend this upright. And if you are trying to decide between a traditional freezer and an upright freezer, spend the extra for the upright. You will be glad you did.
