Was tired of having to dig through our decade old chest freezer, so got it to store meat and separate it from the veggies. Love the shelf space, better convenience of the stand up freezer, and that I can adjust temperature settings with the touch pad. Wouldn’t hesitate to get another one if needed.

I plan to buy wire mesh baskets to make keeping track of contents easier. So far, so good.

We purchased the Insignia on Sunday with Tuesday delivery. The temperature read-out, along with the other controls on the door make it easy to know where you stand. Our old unit was 13.7 so room-wise it handled all we have. Shelves are tempered glass and easy to clean. Very clean design all around.

We love our first freezer.

The timing was great for the summer, since we were able to get ice cream and pizza in quantity. We also were able purchase and store frozen fruit in warehouse size bags, that we use often for smoothies. The free delivery was an important plus!

I especially appreciate the digital screen on the outside that always displays the temperature. The freezer was accidentally unplugged the other day and because the display was not on and the screen black, it alerted me to check on it. I plugged it back in, thankfully it was only unplugged for an hour. I would have never known it was unplugged without the digital display!
