Now we are glad we have an upright. It is much easier to keep foods grouped together by type and to easily see what you have. This model can also convert to a refrigerator as an added bonus.

You can use it as a freezer OR a refrigerator, depending on your needs. We have a chest freezer, but sometimes need more freezer room, but when we need more refrigerator space (think holidays with family), we can quickly convert it to a refrigerator.

First, it is frost free. This has allowed us to put our stock in order and have quick access without the hassle of all the frost. Second, it is power efficient. Third, it fits in our very limited space perfectly. Finally, it has a warning system if the door is left open too long.

Not only is the right size, but it has glass shelves and a digital exterior control, features that we really like. Set to zero, the inside temp runs about 5degrees F, and jumps to 10 when the door is open. It keeps food perfectly.
