Good freezer, but hard to open

I usually have to yank hard two or three times to open it. I don't know if it has a vacuum seal or if the door seal is magnetized, but it takes much more force to open than our identically sized GE freezer.

I have only used as a freezer, but like that I could switch if/when needed. I placed a separate thermometer and it shows a consistently freezing temperature. Keeps frozen foods frozen; that's all I can ask of it. But, it is a nice looking appliance too.

The unit was damaged inside the box, but the box showed no signs of damage. The plastic drawer was broken. as for the functionality of the unit. Its perfect

It's great to be able to find what we want & without standing on our heads & freezing, especially our hands, while having to paw through everything to find what we want, which is usually at the bottom, of our small chest freezer. We, also, like that, if we need it as a refrigerator, we can convert it.

It fits my space and freezes perfectly, the inside space works well. I will recommend it. It one thing that is annoying but I think best for the garage space and that is the suction on the door is very tight... sometimes the freezer moves when opened. Elaine

We set one up as a refrigerator the other as a freezer. These are working GREAT and we have a lot more cold storage now. Highly recommend these for extra cold storage.
