Nice fit and finish, glass shelves are a welcome upgrade from the typical wire rack shelves. Solid feel. The digital controls are easy to use and work well. Sides are black FYI. The stainless finish is nice but 'real' and therefore does not clean easily with normal cleaners.

I purchased this for use at a local food bank. It converts very easily. I particularly like the temperature digital readout on the door. It keeps up with the constant opening and closing of the door during food distributions. A great purchase!

Great Freezer, just the seal is too strong.

I would give it 5 stars but it is so hard to open, and when trying to open it still slides across our floor. I know this is a great seal, but it it would not move when trying to open it, I would have given 5 stars.

We have always had chest freezers but you have to manually defrost them. I have had this freezer for about a month and am so glad I spent the extra to get it. Not only because of not having to defrost but you can see everything nothing gets stuck at the bottom and hides. Everything is organized! I love it!

It was a streamlined process from selection to delivery. I had my freezer within 4 days! I would recommend the online ordering process to anyone. The Insignia freezer was a good choice. We waited patiently for this freezer as we began our search in March 2020. None available anywhere! We always had a freezer but it was a chest type and it crashed at a time when none were available. We’re very happy with this purchase.

Works well, been in use for 5 weeks or so. No evidence of frost so far. Handles as much as its predecessor, a 15 Cu.Ft. Kenmore (born in 1978) but without the defrosting vey 6 months or the sweating skin...

I figured once I'm no longer nursing her, i can convert this into a fridge. Pros: - great size - has freezer / fridge options - affordable Cons: - REALLY hard to open (I hafta yank it, HARD, to open it) - it slides forward EVERY time I open it (it COULD be a combo of my flooring + the item being really hard to open)

We keep sodas and excess vegetables in it. It's right outside the kitchen door for easy access. Its working fine and was easy to set up.

Haven't tried the refrigerator mode, not sure if I need that, but nice to know it's available. This unit is pretty energy efficient, used to replace ancient freezer. Lastly, plenty of room for your freezer needs.
