No performance issues with the freezer so far, except maybe that the door seals too well making it hard to open sometimes.

A solid freezer, made in Thailand

I bought this freezer with installation service and three-year Geek Squad protection. The delivery was excellent. The delivery team called me 30 minutes before arrival. They handled the hauling and installation carefully. Surprisingly, the compressor is from Toshiba, and the freezer is made in Thailand. I suspect that Midea manufactured this freezer at a Toshiba factory, which Midea acquired several years ago.

My old freezer had went out and this feature came in handy so I didn’t lose all of my food. Would definitely recommend.
