It's a cat5 cable. It is the proper length and does its job

when I updated my computer I was not able to get wi-fi. needed a fix quick. I went to several places and they did not carry the product. I was a little skeptical about the price but I needed it and it worked better than I could have hoped for. Now I have a connection at all times.

This is a great product and it is easy to see why I a'm doing this review, because we were having a problem with our wi-fi so, we decided to hard wire the computer to the internet station. Doing this and gives it a better connection and gives it a lot better performance because of this great 14 foot wire. It gives us room to move things around too. I would highly recomend it now. The length is great for using around the house and outside and the speed is the same as a normal 6’ cable

Had to relocate my desktop computer and needed a longer network cable yo connect it to my cable modem/router! Best Buy had a generous supply of cables in various lengths to meet my needs! I chose the longer cable I needed and was pleased at both the quality and price!

My wife works remote & had a big video presentation to make. Much to no ones surprise, the day of the presentation our wi-fi was acting up. We recently re-feng shui'd our basement which moved her work area further from our router which didn't aid the situation. Signal wasn't strong enough. She called me at work nervous and anxious. I knew what to do. I went to my favorite Best Buy and got this ethernet cord. Combined this with the Linksys Powerline 1000, also from Best Buy, and plugged it in to her lap top. Boom it's like she's got a direct ethernet line to the router upstairs from the basement. Presentation went great. A few days later received a 6% raise. Buy this ethernet cord. It'll get you paid and closer to.

Even though its 100 ft long, it is engineered not to loose too much power/speed given its length. Works just as advertised, receiving advertised speeds minus 3-5 % loss of signal due to length but definitely worth it over wi-fi. Highly recommend if you have to be grounded and directly connected to the modem.
