I use my laptop in a wifi 'dead zone' in our home and with this cable, I run it along the floor boards to where I'm located. 100 feet is a pretty good length.

The RJ45 couplers I bought were cheap and it kept disconnecting me. This cable seems to be really sturdy and well made. It also fixed my 100Mb/s bottleneck with my LAN. This cable is showing 1Gb/s connected to my router.

I no longer drop calls on my laptop during Web-Ex Meetings or Presentations. It's exactly what I needed.

in expensive cable works just fine

Boot on end is difficult to push but this cable is in place and will not be unconnected until obsolete. May be a hindrance if cable is to be removed and reconnected frequently.

With online classes, these are a must! Good cable quality and needed length.

I used this to Hardwire a Brand New 2016 Sony 65"-850D and a Brand New Netgear AC 1750 Router. With Cox Tier 3 Internet, my smart TV flies! Save your money on "Big Name Cables". Insignia is holding strong as a link, pulled from both ends, by High End products. Good to go!!!

For years my wife's computer had been far slower than mine on the Internet because it depended on Wi-Fi. Attempts to strengthen the signal failed. The Cat-6, which is buried in the ground for most of its length, has dramatically speeded up my wife's computer.
