The length is great if you need to connect it to a router or modem that isn't close to your computer. I didn't have any issue with setting it up. It's been working fine.

If I need my computer somewhere else I just disconnect it. So simple. I learned this from geek squad

After ordering two of these cat cables along with a 50 foot cat cable. I had found out that there were cat 8 cables available which gave me better speeds.

Also, the clip covers keep me from breaking the clips when im moving the cable around in my backpack.

Advice was good in this case

I plugged in the hard line connection to the router and it made everything so much faster! Short or long, definitely a great product!
