    If you are upgrading your modem, router and switch to gig speed, you need to upgrade to cat5e or cat6. If you dont change the cables, you will limit the speed to parts of your house.

    Cable was a little longer than I needed but I would rather have it longer rather than shorter. Ready made cables are better than trying to custom cut and adding connectors.
