Due to some health symptoms I had experienced, we have turned to utilizing ethernet cables for our laptop internet connections, and turned the wi-fi off. (It's a small house, and the router is in the living room close to where I usually sit.) Connecting our chromebooks to the internet is easy, and the internet connection is stable at all times (other than when it is interrupted outside our home, for instance, when the line was taken down with a tree falling across our neighbors' back yard). The cable plugs into the back of the router, and into the chromebook via the USB adapter. We have three of these cables set up, in 15', 25' and 50' lengths, and the 50' cable goes anywhere I need to go in the house while maintaining my connection. (And yes, the symptoms stopped.) If you want to turn off your wi-fi, this is what to use.

Bought this Ethernet cable to run my router from one end of the house to the other through the basement. Cable was plenty long enough, and very durable to handle some roughing with. Haven't had a single problem.

I recently transitioned to working from home and needed to hard wire into my modem. My modem and they way my office had to be set up was a challenge, found this cable at Best Buy, and it is more than long enough and performance has Vern great!

Not much you can add to this product rating. It serves exactly the purpose intended without compromise. The additional benefit, as pointed out by the Best Buy team, is to get several with the right number of couplers and then you can have a high performance set up anywhere you want. Nice for having an outside office when you want, with secure comms.

Bought a few of these months ago, no problems speeds are better since I have 900mbps internet, these work great.

This cable is currently hooked up to my pc and is comparable to the 80$ wire I bought from a pc company, the same product for cheaper, save your money and buy this for your setup.

It’s an Ethernet cable, what more is there to say? It supports my internet speed needs and the 25’ length is useful.

Had a card that refused to take any cat6 or cat5e cables at any speed greater than 100/100. this cable finally got us into the 2.5 Gigabit range of speeds. Nice quality cable as well.

Great product. I'd been renting two router extenders from my cable company to try to get better internet connectivity on the second floor of my old house. (I've been told the old ones have a horsehair batting inside the walls that obstructs transmission.) I'd heard the term "ethernet" and was intrigued, so I ordered a cable from Best Buy. It was simple to put in: one end goes in router, the other in the second floor computer, and I had all the speed I needed. Granted, the job was made a little simpler by the fact I knew where holes has been drilled years ago to bring the previous cables up, but it's worth figuring out.
