Should have gone to dell direct for a care pack. Anyway this thing is expensive, heavy and does NOT charge 140w laptop top.

The main USB-C port stopped working after a few months (cables were hardly ever swapped out of it). Not to mention, there are better options with more ports and wattage for a lot cheaper, like the Anker ones. Pretty disappointed with this product and I’ll probably be avoiding Insignia after seeing other people with similar experiences.

At first I thought maybe it was the USB-C cords I was using. Changed those and it seemed fine for a while, but I had to keep rotating cords. Now after just over a month of use it wont charge anything. I've tried multiple cords, multiple different outlets. I've tried the extension cord and plugging the device straight into the wall and it wan't charge anything. It's an absolute waste of money.

All the other ports on the adapter still work just not the one meant for laptops. Definitely disappointed. I bought two and I don't want to wait for the other one to blow!

A Great Power Option For Fast Charging

It has two options for connecting it to power which is nice. You can plug it in via the built-in two prong connector or you can use the provided power cable. It was a good idea to include the power cable with it as an option for users. It has a female two prong pass-thru on the front. It has two USB-C ports and two USB-A ports. The first USB-C port, if it is the only USB-C port being used, will provide up to 140W. If it is being used while the second USB-C port is being used, then the first provides up to 100W and the second up to 30W. Regarding the USB-A ports, each provides up to 2.4A. If only one USB-A port is in use, it will provide 12W total and if both are in use, it will provide 15W total. So far, I haven’t had any problems with the ports. It’s worked well to provide fast charging to my Samsung tablet, normal charging to my 1st gen iPad Pro, and charging to my headphones. The power cable and the pass-thru power outlet on the front were good ideas. Overall, I’m liking it. It would be good to see some size/weight reduction on future iterations, but those are the only cons I can say about it.

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a very capable charger. They say it can power a 16" Macbook Pro. I don't have one of those, but I assume it is an accurate statement. I connected my computer along with two portable monitors all to the computer-charging port, as well as two tablets and a cell phone to the other ports. The cell phone still quick-charged and both tablets charged at a normal rate (connected to the 2 12W output ports). This thing will charge whatever you need to charge! The design is also very nice in that you can plug it directly into a wall (if you don't mind having the charging ports all facing down to the floor), or with a 6-foot AC cable. It is worth noting that there is no ground connection on the plug, so this is not going to work as a surge-protector, so perhaps run it through a surge protector if you want the protection. When connected through the AC plug, you can actually stack multiple of these chargers for more output (if so inclined at $140 per charger....) from a single plug. I think this might be overkill, but I'm sure others will have a different use-case than I do, as I just plan on using this to charge all of my devices when traveling, or perhaps using this as a charger for smaller devices on my desk (my computer is typically connected to a docking station with two larger monitors).
