Caution! The labeling on the device is incorrect. While the box and directions say that this is a positive center adapter, the end of the cable says otherwise. It clearly has the 'tip' indicating negative. In reality, the directions and box are correct. I did overlook this on box because all other "universal" adapaters I have purchased in the past permit you to choose polarity -- so when I inserted the tip and clearly had the negative indicated as 'tip' I was shocked to discover that the tip was outputting positive voltage... It is dangerous to have the actual product incorrectly labeled as it can damage equipment. Equally, this is hardly a universal adapter since it has only fixed polarity. Half of the devices in my home use negative-tip-polarity.

It is to loose at the connection of the power that goes into the wall causing issues

Package not specify model # of tablet can be used on. Tried it before left store w/Geek Squad rep & it seemed to work. Unable to return it bc over 15 days & store not near home. Stuck with charger not need! Bummer!

The outlet piece drop in the box n tell best buy for an exchange n they give me a poor customer service. The stores is closed now n they are telling me to wait until further notice. I need this for my daughter's school work n now I have no access to help her do her school work.

Poor Quality. Do not buy. Not at all worth the money. The probes broke in a year even if it wasn’t moved much.

I've purchased this item from Best Buy in the past, I'd say it was about 12 years ago i purchased this item from you guys. It was phenomenal find when I found it back then & got so much use outta it, until recently when the electric plug began to fray where the cord meets the plastic on the main part of the unit. I used electric tape to attempt fixing it but it only worked that way for a short period of time before the unit wouldn't charge anything anymore in that condition, so I decided it was time to go out & attempt to find another one in the stores to replace the one i originally purchased about 12 years ago & literally came to swear by use of this item for all my electric items charging needs over the years, especially 1 item that I use pretty frequently now even & obviously require a charger to use the item that I depend on use of this electric plug to charge that item i own & use very frequently, providing it's able to be used if I have the proper charger like this one to charge the item so that I've got it readily always available if I need or want to use it the way I had been using it prior to my original charger fraying at the end of the plugs cord, when I less frequently found myself using the item that required this charger to keep it always available for my use whenever I came to find myself wanting to use the item & maintaining the charge on a daily basis charging it up before leaving my home with it so I knew I'd always be able to have it ready to be used when I want to when I kept it charged daily using the original charger purchased 12 years ago, which is what I replaced with this new identical charger here that I purchased & was lucky enough to have found again at such an affordable price, even as an open box item which i checked before leaving the store & all the pieces & extensions to use this charger on anything i may want to charge it on, all were inside the box & this item was being sold for much much less cost than I remembered it originally costing me the first time, let alone what I had anticipated I'd be spending now 12 years later, I thought I'd for sure have to spend way more than I'd of been willing to in order to replace this charger, but i was very happily surprised by my ability to find this open box charger, at a very affordable fraction of the cost of the full priced item being sold also here at Best Buy, so I gave it a chance & went ahead & purchased this charger again, with no surprise it was the greatest decision I could've made for myself, as it's everything I remember it being previously & such a handy find for anyone looking for this sort of charger for themselves to be able to use on just about any charitable item requiring a charger with a specific tip that's able to be swapped out with any of the many other tips included with this item when you purchase it, then I'd highly suggest this item to anyone looking for this sort of all in one type of charger with swappable tips included, you ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT BE SORRY once you try this charger out with your possessions requiring any sorts of charger, this is gonna be that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow for you, BELIEVE ME YOU WON'T BE SORRY YOU MADE THIS PURCHASE DECISION, IT'LL BE THE BEST PURCHASE YOU EVER MADE, YOU'LL SEE!!!

The universal charger is versatile and well priced, it has multiple well made charging tips, it works well with newer items, just not enough amps for the old speaker i originality bought it for, i am keeping it for my other item's in case i lose their chargers or they stop working

Very easy to use. The adapting tip sizes are clearly labeled and easy to mount. The 15.6 watt device range will supply adequate power to most devices smaller than bread box. The slide selector is easy to select voltage. For the price, this universal adapter is a good way to keep useful electronic devices where the original power wall wart is lost.

Compatible with my equipment, working well as expected!

It stood out to me not only because it was a universal power supply, but because it was rated at 1.3 amps and it had a USB connector. I later on found out that its polarity couldn't be reversed. I solved that by building my own adapter to plug on the end with the connections reversed. According to your website and PDF file, it's a positive tip. But looking at the marks on the connector, a "-" is inline with "TIP". Very confusing, I'm wondering if somebody messed up in the design. I suggest people take a voltmeter and double check the polarity before plugging it in. Just to be on the safe side and not blow anything.

Everyone needs to get one of these universal power adapters if you use electronics in general. Works perfectly and switching out tips and adjusting the amount of power you need is a breeze. Plus the adapter and power cord don't take up too much space so it can be stored virtually anywhere you might need it, such as a garage. Well worth the price in my opinion.

This was exactly what I needed for my nebulizer machine. It also has 6 other settings plus a port to charge my phone. Has attachments to go with each setting. It works great and it's not bulky. Under $25.00 and worth every penny. Love it.

I was looking for an A/C adapter for an external hard drive and found this awesome little device at Best Buy. It's actually a pretty nice product in that it provides A/C power via lots of different connection types and even has a variable voltage slider to match your equipment. Anyone who uses lots of different electronic equipment should pick up one or more of these as it may come in super-handy at some point. Or, if you've lost or broken your specialized A/C adapter for one of your devices, this replacement might just do the trick. Glad I found it!
