Supposed to be 5gbps speed but when tested with the Oculus app it is only 2.7!! Doesn’t keeps connected to the PC, constantly cutting in and out. I’m returning and getting the real thing.

Tested the original type c that came with the quest 2 on my pc's back panel type c, and got data transfer. Maybe mine's faulty or something but data will not transfer unless I use a type a header.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works really well as a solid replacement. Cable ends aren’t quite to standard and fit really snug. Cables shouldn’t have to be wedged into ports. They should just click into place (and the Meta branded cable does). For those that use this for PC VR, it does keep the headset reasonably charged (unlike the Meta branded cable), but keep in mind you’ll never maintain 100% charge. The cable does twist just like the Meta branded cable and it is comparable in weight to the Meta branded cable. I have heard of the ends coming apart on these, but I leave mine plugged in.

The cable improves latency, but not by much with a decent router. To put it shortly, I bought this, but realized soon after I didn't need to.
