The two top shelves of this cooler look like traditional wine rack shelves. The bottom shelf unit interacts with the floor of the cooler to form sort of split level shelving for 6 bottles. I'm not sure I like that arrangement but the cooler does what it is supposed to do and holds the 16 bottles advertised comfortably. I like that it has a condenser rather than being thermoelectric -- have had one of those and had to replace the computer board twice to keep it running.
