Looks really cool, gives a nice ambiance to the room. Can be dimmed for tv watching. Lots of colors to pick from and adheres well. If you need the remote, spend a few bucks extra get that option. These only work via USB power, but there are plenty of cheap plug in USB power option available. You probably have quite a few lying around from old phones.

Cool as I had hoped

I installed this 8ft. along the top of the cabinets in my kitchen to serve as indirect light - a soft glow just enough so one can find one's way around without needing to turn on the bright lights. I plan to pick up the 16ft version as soon as it goes on sale and install it along the peninsula in my kitchen.
