Light looks as cool as I had hoped, and I had hoped it would be cool - ha! I installed this 8ft. along the top of the cabinets in my kitchen to serve as indirect light - a soft glow just enough so one can find one's way around without needing to turn on the bright lights. I plan to pick up the 16ft version as soon as it goes on sale and install it along the peninsula in my kitchen.

I bought this 4 ft LED tape light as an inexpensive way of adding light to and around my cordless keyboard. Yes, I am not an expert typist and often must look at the keys to type! The Good: The Tape light brightness is easily adjustable. You can also change the color of the light. The tape is fairly flexible and sticks well in my situation. The Not So Good: The products downfall is that the LED light is not diffused and very directional. I would need this light directly over the keyboard to see the keys. If any of the light is pointed towards me from the keyboard area, I can not see the keys. Due to this issue, I was not able to attach the light on the edge of the desk but had to install it under the desk where it is unable to illuminate the keyboard Overall, this tape light could be used as a cool mood light but when I am at my computer, I don't need mood lighting. Since this light is powered by USB, I can't use this in the bedroom unless I buy new clock that has a USB hub. Remember, this was to be an inexpensive fix. So I think this is likely to sit unused for a long time. Reminding me of another failed experiment.
