My daughter asked for LED lights for her room. She loves these! We applied them around the door frame of her closet and it was super easy. I feel like applying them around the perimeter of a ceiling, like she originally wanted, would need more support than the adhesive on it.

Very simple and cheap light strip! When power is turned off and back on the strip automatically turns on to the same color. I just have a a bunch connected to a usb hub that turns on when my monitor turns on. Always stays at your last color and brightness!

This is a great light source for our rooftop tent. I have it connected to a usb power bank and it will put out enough light to blind you so the dimming function comes in very handy. The ability to stick it on the frame was great. It stays out of the way and stays in the tent when time to fold the tent.

I put this behind my TV to compliment the picture on the screen and it has been a staple of my set-up since then. The controls are simple; brightness and color selector. I appreciate that this is powered via USB so I did not have to use another plug on my power conditioner, instead I just plugged it into my TV.

This multi-colored led lights are fantastic, they really make your desk/work area more fun and exciting, you have the capability of having different colors to fit your mood! Easy to apply/install, just watch some You Tube videos on how to and you'll soon be as creative as they are, let your imagination run wild!

I purchased the Multi Color LED Tape Light solely to outline my movie room floor to give it a more theater look. Which by the way looks great with the blue lights along the walls. I found so many more uses for the 16 color LED lights such as; we needed more light under the kitchen cabinet and with the easy self adhesive tape already attached installation was supper easy, and with multiple dimming and brightening levels the lights looks really nice at night. I even bought a set and outlined my tv for better viewing. Comes with a handy remote to set any mood at the touch of a finger. I would definitely recommend the Multi Color LED Tape Light by Insignia.

A little expensive but the only one I could find that has a normal plug AND remote. And the 16’ length was perfect to go across the wall. They love the multiple color and pattern functions for the lights. Easy to stick to wall.

I own several Hue light strips, and I was hoping for a similar brightness over my office desk. It doesn't seem to come close to Hue's level of brightness, and the white color isn't as good in my opinion. The remote worked well, and it is much longer and more affordable than other light strips, but the lack of brightness was a deal breaker. If you are using it for accent lighting along stairs or under cabinets it may be perfect for you.

You don’t have to spend an arm and a leg with this brand of smart light strips. I just wish this 8 ft one had a remote but you can still control form your phone if you plug this into a smart switch -Wemo, tplink or insignia brand...

These light are so bright I put them around my room so I don't have to have lamps and they work incredible I got 2 of these and my room is very bright and they sync on together with the controller

I had seen previous reviews complaining about the adhesive, or lack thereof, but decided to purchase this light strip anyway. Sure enough, there was absolutely no adhesive tape on the light strip. I'm not sure if it's poorly made and just comes off with the little strip that's supposed to protect the adhesive or if there's simply no adhesive tape on the lights at all. Plan on picking up some double sided 3M tape or something similar if you purchase this. Aside from that issue, the lighting is fantastic. The different levels of brightness are perfect for any time of day and there are a decent variety of colors to choose from.

Super affordable, great light tape. While these lack a lot of the features present in more expensive light tape, these do the job -- especially if you just wanna light up the back of your TV or monitor or something. Overall good.

We had purchased a cheaper version of these lights for my daughter and they stopped working after 2 months. Spent a few extra bucks on these, and they work great. You can tell they are a higher quality. The colors are cool, and they are easy to install.

The lights themselves are very easy to set up and the colors are great, but I give this four stars because I wish there was a way to change the frequency of them because the same controller I use for my pc changes the led strips.

It's a good light strip that changes into a variety of colors. I installed it behind my desk and equipped it with a tp-link smart plug so I can control the on/off sequence with my google home. it also comes with a usb plug outlet in the box.

I'm really enjoying these! They're being used as a backlight on my tv. They're the right length and stuck on really nice. I can change the colors and brightness quickly with the remote.

Great light strip, I love that there isn't a dongle that you must point a remote at so it's much easier to conceal for a great clean look that you can't get from other LED strips.

Seriously, what's to review? They change to the color you want and accent your tv. They really don't serve a huge purpose but they look really cool. I do like that, because it's plugged into my tv, it's shuts off and on when my tv does.

Bought these on sale and put them up in about 5 minutes, totally transformed my kitchen from a boring heap of cabinets into a more modern look . I was so impressed I went back and bought 2 more for behind the TV and my bedroom!

Great light to have when you don't have a lot of space. I just use the white light but I guess the other colors are good for ambient effects. Easy to cut so you can adjust the length.
